Product matches description and i guess would be fine if you dont sit a tv on it? Our tv was mounted the first year. we rearranged the tv now sits on the stand / its been a year and it separates at the bottom now. Tv is not over max weight it just seems the stand isnt very sturdy.
The directions are easy to follow and all parts are well labeled. It is a very sturdy, nice looking entertainment center and arrived a day earlier than expected.
I would have preferred to buy a cheaper more flimsy thing, but my current TV exceeds their weight limits by like triple. This thing is holding it so easily. Stop bragging, TV stand.
This item is EXTREMELY fragile! The small piece of wood on the bottom that is intended to keep the whole entertainment center intact, is extremely flimsy and broke almost instantly, which caused the center to buckle and the legs to come off. I had to reinforce the entire product with nails and screws, and had to replace the small center piece of wood with a solid block I had to purchase. The entire entertainment center collapsed on me within a day! After the homemade improvements it is STILL not very sturdy.
The depth of the deck is only 16 inches, so take care that your TV legs will actually fit on it front to back. Mine doesnt (75 Sony). I used the plywood packing inserts from the stands box to bridge the difference.
Its also worth noting that despite the claims made in the listing, the label on the stand itself says its only for TVs up to 65.
I was surprised how sturdy (heavy) this tv stand is. This is good value for money. The instructions were excellent and all the parts/hardware were there (even a bag of spare parts). With both my husband and myself, it took 2 hours. If I had to give a criticism, I wish it came in a darker finish. Overall, this stand will not disappoint.
We found this to be a very well/engineered cabinet. Hardware was precisely packed, dowels were easy to install and glue, particleboard is very strong. Took 1hr 30 mins to completely assembled by my wife. That was the good part. I get this in 2 days after ordering it to support my 65 UHDTV and Subwoofer
. The dimensions are spot on. I highly recommend this product.
