On a scale of overall couch comfortability, 0 being intolerable and 5 being the most luscious couch youve ever been on, this couch is a 3 out of 5. But considering the price point of the couch, Id bump it up to a 4 out of 5 because of the affordability to comfort ratio.
I think this couch is very comfortable. But Im 5 3 and fit almost anywhere. My fiance, who is 6ft tall, really didnt like this couch at first, but after I made some alterations he started to feel more comfortable. Below, Im gonna explain everything that was wrong with the couch and how I fixed it to make it more comfortable.
My fiance could not lay down comfortably because the couch cushions would slump down or shift under his weight (I did not experience this issue when sitting by myself, but since he is taller and heavier than me things would shift around when he sat, especially if we sat down together). The only way he could feel comfortable was by sitting upright. If he tried resting on the L part of the couch, the leg/rest would shift around since it was detached from the rest of the couch, causing the large cushion to slump over because it has a little portion that overhangs off the edge of the couch (see photo of leg/rest for reference). This part that sticks out is supposed to rest on top of the leg/rest, but the leg/rest is not fixed in place and moves, so the cushion would slump down and slide off, creating a domino effect with all the other cushions sliding down and shifting. The couch cushions oddly dont match the couch dimensions, seeing as the cushion for the actual leg/rest is a bit short. I guess to accommodate the overhanging cushion, but the design makes no sense to me.
How did I fix this issue? LOTS OF VELCRO. I put velcro on the leg/rest to attach it to the rest of the couch and keep it in place. The couch cushion that goes on top of the leg/rest already had velcro, so the whole leg/rest doesnt shift anymore. I also added velcro under the longer couch cushion with the weird overhang so that it doesnt slide forward under our weight (by sliding forward, it would push the leg/rest away from the couch). So now that also stays in place. The shorter couch cushion already had its own velcro, so no problems there. And finally, I added velcro to all three of the back cushions (see photo for reference) so they also could stay in place and not sag into the bottom cushions and force those to slump forward. Added some extra throw pillows, and voila, a lounge/able comfortable couch.
This couch has its design defects, but it is sturdy, the cushions are comfortable, it looks nice, and doesnt take up too much space. Once I made these small changes, Ive been very happy with it.
Thats true, its not feathery down filled, but its definitely not a brick! It is well made inexpensive furniture. But it is inexpensive furniture. The does feel really nice, not a tweed! I spent 8k at Raymour Flannigan for 2 power reclining flexsteel sofas, 2 power rocker recliner flexsteel chairs, a coffee table, 2 end tables and 1 side table. They are the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I ever wasted my money on!! They are as hard as a board!! Even after a year of use, yes the seat sinks but still very hard!! I purchased this convertible sectional and chair, just put the chair together and find it very comfortable comparatively. I am to the point that Id rather purchase less expensive furniture and replace it every 2/5 years. Its way less expensive. I do love the R F tables though. For reference I am 59, 175 lbs, 5 4 tall and this set is deep enough to sit with a leg under me. I do not feel like Im sliding out. Im not sure how it will hold up as everyday adult seating. But, however, I am considering it, as Ive stated my R F furniture is extremely uncomfortable! I purchased this to use in a formal living room we dont use. Im setting it up for the grand kids to use so they can store toys and games in the seats, this way they arent crowding the great room with clutter. If the sectional goes together as simply as the chair did, it is super easy! My advice is to not tighten the legs too tight, dont tighten them as hard as you can by hand, only tighten enough to sit against the bottom. Same thing when bolting on the bracket attachments, tighten enough so the brackets do not wiggle, use the supplied Phillips screwdriver just until tight. If you get the chair too, put the back on first then the arms. Hope this helps someone make a decision.
Love the multi configurations. Its super cute and works for any space. The side/back pieces are a bit flimsy though so dont go flopping around on them.
I purchased this couch a few months ago, it was my favorite thing in my new (much smaller) apartment. Recently, some very naughty children were jumping on my couch and broke the back supporting piece. (You could hear the broken wood every time you sat back, and you sunk in further than you were supposed to.)
Now Im very shy about contacting the sellers. But I thought what the heck, why not? I wanted to ask if I could order the parts I needed to replace or if this was the end of my new favorite couch.
I was so glad I contacted the seller. They were super friendly and answered my question in a timely manner. Not only were they able to send out my replacement parts, but shipping was unbelievably fast.
I deeply appreciate that they were friendly, every step of the way and that they were able to send me what I need at no cost. 10/10 would highly recommend. 100 satisfied. Exceptional customer service.
Attractive design for modern homes very comfortable and great quality for the price. I like that you can purchase additional pieces to add more seating room. What I liked the most about this sofa is that you can have countless configurations with the five pieces it has. This will give you enough choices in a gathering or function.
I want to start by saying, I love this couch. It was SO EASY to put together. The firmness of the couch doesnt take from the comfort. It feels sturdy and I was pleasantly surprised by the fabric. I love all the of the storage (or toy hiding spots for my toddler ). Its the PERFECT couch for small spaces. Im giving 4 stars because there are a few things I wish were different.
The back as some have mentioned moves just slightly when its not against the wall. Not an issue for me but if you plan to have the couch anywhere but sitting against the wall, just keep that in mind. Its really not that big of deal but to some people it might be. I wish the back pillows were a little longer as well as the sitting cushions, but again, this couch is perfect for small spaces, so it kind of makes sense that theyre short. I do wish pillows came for the arm rest part, but I will be ordering my own so not a big deal. I do think the s are an important piece to this sofa. The seats arent very deep so I sit more comfortably with the s. You are able to attach them to the couch so they dont move, which I think is a great feature.
I LOVE that I was able to order another center seat once I realized another seat would fit. It should be here next week. The whole couch arrived 1 day apart. I was able to set up the whole couch and the arms came the next day (today). Overall, Im very happy with my purchase. I have no true complaints. If I notice overtime that my opinion on this couch has changed, I will update this review so people can get a true idea of how it lasts. If I dont update, Im still happy Ive added a photo with my family sitting on the couch so you guys can have an idea of the size. My husband is 59 and 215 pounds. He sits comfortably. Great value
Very nice
Great if youre short. Not if youre tall. But can make more comfortable.

Wobbly backs and sides
It has wont back and side pieces. No matter how tight you get them they are still quit wobbly. Very uncomfortable to lay down on as well.
Just built but love it!
