    Nice Gazebo

This Gazebo is great, first one I have put together and I would say to anyone buying this or similar, put aside a few hours and dont be a smart alec like me and try do it by yourself. I started out putting this together alone, using a wall to hold one side up until it twisted and buck to the ground. It took a good 3 hours to finish, I think a lot of that was taken up in breaks as it was so hot. Since I have it put up, I spend all my time out there relaxing. It was my wifes idea to get it but she hasnt wanted to use it yet, probably because of the heat so DO buy a camp fan for this as well and some lights for night use. Its pretty sturdy, the bug net is perfect, the size is great, feels much bigger than it is. When it gets a little cooler I am going to work from there, I love it.

    4 Hours to bliss

A bit involved to assemble, but the end result is magnificent. I set it on my porch for shade and to cover the patio furniture when having dinner or lunch in the shade. I used deck screws to screw into the patio deck boards, on a windy day it resisted even with the canopy roof instal. Love this!

The shelter is very easy to assemble and a great value. Worth every penny.

Top corners flips up in light wind

Update: After the first big storm with high winds the canopy top ripped and came loose from the frame. The frame survived with no damage. Really annoying canopy corners are not fastened to frame. The canopy corners flip up in the slightest wind. See pictures. It looks like canopy has a design flaw as they should have sewed pockets to slip over the metal corner to prevent canopy from flipping up. I contacted the seller and asked if my canopy was a manufacturing mistake and was told to use rope t tie it down (not sure how). I will probably add some Velcro to remedy the problem. For the price of this Gazebo you would think it would have been tested outside and designed to withstand a 5 mile an hour wind. The frame is not sturdy the gussets help but metal is not really strong (metal bends really easy) so doesnt add much to frame strength. It really could use a second rail around the top perimeter to strengthen up the frame. I dont use the side skirts so cant comment on those. I would have liked to see a version with stronger frames and side sold separately. Canopy material is ok blocks sun nicely, keeps rain out but material could be stronger. This is a mediocre product slightly better than a pop up Gazebo

    no tool assembly

Would have been much easier with a two person assembly, but I did it alone. Top , small cover is pretty tight, could have used a 1/4 longer fabric

    Sturdiness of a Gazebo

This is perfect for use over the grill.

    Functions so far

Went together pretty easily and is functioning. Deducting stars because one of the welds came apart during assembly. I had it mostly put together when this happened. Not something I can really return, but we will see how long it holds up.

Just what we needed for our deck.

This grill Gazebo serves 2 purposes. It shelters the grill on the deck, and shades the house from the strong Hawaiian sun. As mentioned by others, the canopy faded quickly. However, everything fades here, so was not surprised. Easy to assemble. Because of strong winds, we lashed it to the deck rail with bungee cords.
