I seriously cannot say enough about how much we love this bed. My kids refused to go to bed alone in their room until we got this! It took less than a day to put together, and it is SO incredibly sturdy. My children are still young, and one of them is special needs, so it was very important to us to have stairs rather than a ladder. These stairs are easy for my children, myself, and my spouse to get up and down. The railing is a good height and sturdy so I never have to worry about them falling off. The drawers under the stairs are easy to open and close, and have tons of room in them. The storage throughout the whole bed is amazing really. Large totes can fit under the bed or on the lowest bookshelf, tons of clothes can be put in the drawers, and we store books on the shelves. We plan to keep this bed for our daughters forever honestly. Thank you so much!!!
Very happy with this purchase we looked at a similar item on Pottery Barn for $2,600 and am soooo glad we found this bunk bed instead!!
Bed arrived promptly in six boxes and in good shape. Assembly was pretty simple and directions easy to follow. I do recommend paying close attention to the specific parts in the diagrams. All the pre-drilled holes and dowels fit perfectly and were well-aligned. This took about six hours to assemble over three evenings, so dont be in a rush.
The bed itself is very sturdy and made of all solid wood. The painted finish was smooth and without defects.
For mattresses we ordered an 8 memory foam twin and full by Simmons from Costco--by far the best price on these mattresses when on sale. For the trundle we ordered Classic Brands Cool Gel Memory Foam 6 Mattress from . Very happy with every mattress ordered. They fit this bed perfectly.
We would buy this bed again. Very happy and our expectations were exceeded.
Super sturdy for my 4 year olds. My boys love it. Its so spacious and I feel like its safe! I love how high the rails are. This bed isnt too big or too high!
This was a beast to assemble, though the directions were pretty clear and nothing was missing. Be careful about the directions everything faces, and the large pegs that connect the two beds can be very hard to get out!!

I waited a while to review this. We bought this for the grandkids and they love it. It is very sturdy. My husband was impressed. I said something about being careful when I was making up the top bunk, and he told me I had no worries. It takes a lot to impress my husband! I love that the steps are wide and I can go up and down comfortably on them. The storage is nice and my daughter-in-law leaves some of their clothes in them for when they visit. Yes, the bottom bunk doesnt have much head room, but thats okay. All the pieces were in the boxes and it wasnt too difficult to put together. LOTS of pieces, but not too bad. All the mistakes made, were on us not paying attention. lol. I would recommend it.
This is solid wood, not pressboard. Sturdy. Customer service was fantastic and overnighted to me a missing piece. Shipment arrives in multiple boxes due to the size but each piece has a label sticker on it making it easier to follow the instructions. This would last two kids into college if they dont outgrow the mattresses. I am extremely happy with the quality of this bunk bed set with step drawers and a trundle. Best when assembled with two people.
Easy to assemble, but bring an extra set of hands and follow the instructions. Couple of the boards came with cracks already in then. May have to contact for replacement.
