I'll update my review to include pictures later once I've got everything fully finished.
My friend and I settled on this greenhouse and she ordered it through her account. we just got it yesterday and got it fully assembled. There were no instructions, just a large diagram of the finished structure with the pieces thoroughly labeled. I had no problems at all interpreting the diagram, but my friend could hardly make sense of it. so it definitely depends on the individual. I just had her hand me parts while I read the diagram from the bottom up and we had it assembled in about half an hour. we had it fully finished (covered, secured, shelves added and secured) in about another half hour and I figure it'll take me another half hour to fully finish it (add a canvas floor, secure it to more sturdy stakes, and add a water barrel for ambient temp needs) for a tot of 1.5 hours assembly and finishing touches time.
all in all, excellent little starter greenhouse. great for us here in middle Tennessee with the bipolar weather to keep our plants safe
Like: easy to put together, super cute, easy to move if needed.
Dislike: no serious sealing from outside elements (i.e. windows are a joke) also after just abfew months the pieces that hold the cover on the cage absolutely crumble. Just disintegrated in my hands.
This literally renders the thing useless.
It was great until we found out we are missing an important piece. We cant request the one piece without returning the whole product. Which we have it put together so thats not an option. I love the product but not the issue with missing parts.
You get what you pay for. You need to put the plastic part on and let sit in the sun to stretch a bit before securing to the frame, otherwise it is too tight to fit. The zipper broke on one side the first time I zipped it. One good Kansas wind blew the whole structure over, even after securing above and beyond what what supplied. Would be great for a non windy area!
For the price, this is a good purchase for a starter greenhouse. There were no clear assembly instructions. In the box you get a picture of 2 different greenhouses and you have to figure out which one you have ordered, as it wasn't clearly labeled. After the assembly of the base of the structure, it gets easier.
Cover doesnt fit on the structure. Continues to slide up and split in places. They provide tape for when it splits. Its in too many places now and this cost too much money for its value.
This 6ft greenhouse was very easy to assemble. The sturdiness requires blocks, rocks, or boards to keep it in place during breezy days. It is also easy to maneuver as well.
Yes the directions looked a bit overwhelming at first but if you take a second to breathe theyre not hard. Just take each shelf line by line.
The shelves seemed a bit flimsy but they came with little clams that held on okay. There were only enough for 2 per shelf with some left to put four on a shelf. I used small zip ties on the corners to keep the shelf down. If you use zip ties and you put them in a spot other than a corner the shelf wont sit on the poles all the way.
I live in Vegas and no one tells you about how mental the wind gets. Its a mild day so if it holds up against this wind (20-50 mph gusts, yes 50) Ill update the review to 5 stars. If it doesnt, its not the products fault. The wind really sucks here.
Oh and just in case you think 3 tiers means 3 upper shelves, remember that the one on the ground counts as a shelf.
