Relatively easy to put together, there were a couple instances of confusion, but nothing a quick back track couldnt fix.
I am slightly concerned with the stability on the side without the steps, but that could be the hover mother in me.
Im also nervous about the bed slats integrity, but Ive never had a bed with slats, so that could be the issue there haha
All in all, 10/10 would absolutely recommend to my friends (and I already have!!!) thanks!
This is a great base! Even though I did not receive it new you can tell someone has put this together before. did offer me a refund of 25%. I put it together in under 2 hours and it is very sturdy. I would love to get the headboard but dont see it in stock in queen size
I have put lots of furniture together and this was by far the most annoying and complicated piece Ive assembled. The directions clearly state that two people are needed for assembly and I got by alone until I had to install the slats. This step was the hardest to accomplish. It has a fabric piece that holds the crossbars but you also have to try to turn it over to install the feet braces. The center one was the hardest. Once that was done we had to try to carry it into the room where the bed frame was assembled (not enough room in there to assemble the slat part). Its just hard to manage the fabric piece and keep the slats in place. Overall, sturdy bed frame with nice height. looks nice!
This bed is beautiful and matched the paxberry twin headboard I already have. Easy to assemble but quite heavy. Two people can knock it out in 1/2 hr was missing the 3 center support legs shown in photos so be prepared to purchase support brackets sold on looks good!
I love the bed, and it wasnt a headache to setup. When i was finished putting it together though, I discovered two spots that had got banged up in the shipping process. They werent bad enough to take apart the whole bed and figure out how to get back in the box for returning, but bad enough to be disappointed.
The best part of this platform bed is the slat setup. Metal beams and crossbars nested inside the thick canvas layer provides great support for the purple mattress, so others would be great as well Id assume!
However, the main material is pretty cheap (no complaint there for the price), and the shipment was missing the most important brackets to assemble. Luckily the metal slats setup allowed for a quick macguyver operation. WAAAAAY faster and more efficient than trying to hassle through service to go to to go back to to just replace the entire shipment - extremely wasteful service practices on all sides. beautiful!
I was hesitant with all the bad reviews but so far the bed is doing great! My 12 year old daughter and her friend put it together so it must have been easy to do. Looks nice! I am planning to buy a headboard next I guess the matching set would be the easiest to attach. useful!
I have never had so much trouble deciding how many stars to give a product. This bed was an absolute bear to put together. You 100% cannot do it alone. There were so many things I had to undo and redo because instructions were not clear. You need a drill for the slats. Charge that sucker up during the hours it will take to get you to that point. Its awful.
BUT once it is together, its a decent product. The platform is sturdy and supportive. It looks nice in my room. It held 600 lbs of people moving around and trying to see if it would squeak or be unstable, and it held up well. I would buy it again, but I would hire people to put it together. cute!!!!
Bed is sturdy, its cheap, and its loud. We bought this for my 2 year olds first bed. Looks nice, while putting it together some of the fake wood its plastered with chipped or scratched off. Real thing that annoys me about it is when anyone is on the bed, its just loud. When he hoists his little ham hocks up there, it creeks as he moves across the bed. So if he falls asleep while Im reading bedtime stories, will most definitely wake him up when I leave. Not sure if its because of the black protector thats over the bars or what.
Would I buy again? Maybe for a guest bedroom that no one sleeps in. Too much effort to take apart and send back, so Ill just buy a different one at some point.

I bought this 4 my granddaughter. Her parents recently passed. Granddaughter is 3 she loves it. Only complaint no mattress. perfect!!!
