Decent quality- poor packing job and had to return.

I researched a ton of beds before getting this one. I was slightly disappointed in the quality of how the wood was put together and you can see some of the nail indentations. There were some sloppy joints and painting at seams but it wasnt terrible. It also came damaged in two places but that was due to shipping and the choice of packing tape- a bright red- that rubbed off all over one corner and was impossible to remove. Had to return. This is indeed a bright white.

    Very sturdy and looks great.

This daybed is perfect for a room if space is limited near a window. The bed was easy to assemble. 8 and 6 foam mattress fits perfectly. Definitely a good investment.

Lovely looking way to pick-up extra sleeping space

This lovely daybed arrived, not just on time but a day early, with all necessary parts. The wood is beautifully finished and my husband and I were very impressed with the innovative directions used in its construction. My husband worked pretty much on his own with me helping out just occasionally. Instructions were clear and quite easy to follow. I find it a very nice addition to a studio area which will be used if we have an overflow of family. However, it also makes a great place to just stretch-out and lounge.

A good piece of furniture that is well worth the price

Ive had this bed since 2016 and I love it and my kids love it. The trundle became loose but we just tightened the hardware and its good again. It even stood up to an out of state move. It was disassembled and resembled with no problems. Although a box spring is not needed I am still using one along with an 8 inch mattress on top of that. The trundle can only accommodate a 6 inch mattress. Its a good piece of furniture. Definitely worth the price.

    Excellent trundle day bed

If you are shopping for this type bed, READ THIS REVIEW. I bought 3 of these. Bright white finish, excellent paint job, wood thicker than expected, very sturdy, not too difficult to assemble, trundle slides out easily, pictures on site are representative of the style, but not the color. Only negative is there are not plastic covers for the bolt holes. I will probably dab some white paint on the shiny silver bolt heads (on the sides of the bed) so they are not noticeable. On the other reviews, here are my comments. Yes, the XL twin mattress on the top fits snuggly and eliminates any gaps. For the trundle mattress, the XL twin mattress is too long, so use a regular length and not more than 7 thickness (with an 8 thickness, the trundle wont slide in or out without lifting up the bed). There was no noticeable odor with the bed or slats - maybe they eliminated that issue in later production. The slats are not thick, but they are numerous - more slat than gap. I suppose if a 200+ person is jumping on the bed, then the slats could break, but they seem strong enough for sleeping. There is nothing flimsy about the wood or construction. I shopped different sites for this type bed and lucked out buying this one.

    very good frame

Easy to put together, looks elegant and clean lines. Runs a little long for regular twin mattress leaving a gap, but not noticeable when blankets on. Holding up great so far, even when a few of us lay in bed so supports adult weight well.

    Very comfortable occasional bed!

It would be better if the top bed had enough clearance to allow the lower bed with an 8 inch mattress to slide easily underneath. In the past I have seen trumdle beds where the lower one had a mechanism to raise it up to the same level as the upper one, effectively turning it into a double bed. I was not able to find that online.
