I spent months researching which big girl bed I wanted to get my five-year-old. I kept coming back to this one, but some concerns I had made me hesitate. First, I was a bit worried about the ladder. My daughter is not an adept climber. But now that’s it’s here and built, I realize that I was concerned for nothing. She gets up and down just fine. It’s a low loft. The height is perfect. Standing up, I can lean in and kiss my daughter goodnight with no problem and I’m only 5’4.” I also don’t need to worry about her safety if she has to get down in the dark to pee in the middle of the night.
My second concern was that the description here on has the bed listed as “cappuccino/zebra” while the photo shows a white bed. I wanted the white, and the reviews weren’t giving me a solid answer on whether or not I would receive the bed in the description or the one in the photo. I rolled the dice, ordered the “cappuccino/zebra,” and thankfully, a white bed arrived! Hooray!
My daughter LOVES this bed, so much that the past few nights, she’s asked to go to sleep at 6PM and actually did, never once coming out of her room.
Overall, It took my husband and son about 5 hours to put together. No problems arose. All parts were there. No nicks or damage. Paint job is beautiful. So far, the bed is sturdy and exactly as described. I moved the dresser across the room to make a little fort underneath. We put up Christmas lights and my daughter is in heaven. It’s her new favorite place to hang out. If I had this bed when I was little kid, my parents would’ve had to drag me out from under it. It really is cool and surprisingly spacious. I was able to sit up comfortably underneath. The dresser is small but the drawers are roomy and held the same amount of clothing that her previous did, and it was twice the size on the outside. The desk itself is sturdy but does move too much on its wheels since it’s meant to slide in and out. My husband is going to just anchor it in place, an easy fix. I’m so glad I decided on this bed. I just adore it and wholehearted recommend.
Sure, everyone wants the best furniture in their house constructed of solid wood. Yet, throwing $2-3k for a bedroom set for our toddler was just not possible or really even smart. Plus, with our upcoming need to make room to add a crib in the same room we knew we needed to save as much space as possible. After reading over all the reviews on the low loft bed we knew this was the right product for us, even if there was some concern on the holes not lining up properly.
The bed arrived in multiple heavy boxes (youll definitely want some help to get them inside and into the bedroom youre building this in). The instructions provided were clear and easy to understand and the hardware was always connected to each box via highly visible red rape. Oh, if you still have that second person handy I recommend you keep the around to help you build the bed frame portion of the build as it can be tricky to get everything to balance. The dresser and bookself portion of the build are easy enough to put together yourself. All in all, it took two of us about four hours to assemble it all. Every predrilled hole lined up perfectly and we had no missing hardware of any kind.
Now, the real plus of this product. We were able to get rid of a dresser, a bookcase, a toy bin, and a daybed and replace it with just this one piece of furniture. I cant believe just how much of a space saver this low lofted bed is. Oh, and our daughter loves it.
Note, we have not yet installed the desk portion yet so thats the only thing I cannot yet review. Yet, with how smoothly the rest of the build went and the quality behind it I have no concerns!
In the end, this bed set exceeded my expectations and Ive recommended it to our friends.

I love that the railing is slightly above the mattress. Im always worried my daughter is going to roll off the bed.
I have yet to buy a chair for the bed, but my daughter stands and does crafts, and plays with her Legos on there. It comes in handy for sure.
I love all of the storage and how it doesnt take up too much space because its 4 in one. Her room is very small and she has more room to play with this bed.

The things I didnt like was that not all measurements added up. Causing the bed to be slightly off. Its off in a way that cant be fixed. Also some of the holes were drilled too big. So one of the knobs on her dresser comes off easily.
I attached pictures of the table out and in and some of the slight issues it had.
Overall, Id recommend this bed.
My 11 yr old and I put this together. It took us about 2.5 hours and it was not at all complicated. It seems sturdy enough so far and the pull out desk is great for a smaller room. The drawers hold enough clothes for an 11 yr old but may not be enough for an older teenager. She’ll definitely outgrow it in 3-4 years but for now, its a great option.
4 stars just because it seems expensive for being made out of mdf
Beautiful Pine, easy to put together. I put together 1 for each of my daughters. Directions are just pictures, so completely dummy proof. Every pre-drilled hole lined up. I purchased 2 beds in white. I received 8 separate boxes. (It may look overwhelming, however, it is truly simple. Whoever was in charge of packing the pieces, they did an amazing job. Every piece was wrapped so it wouldnt touch. The box itself was lined with fiberboard (the crap most furniture is actually made of these days) to keep it from getting damaged during shipping. I am so very happy with these. I wish My husband and I could have a king size one .
All three of my daughters helped build these, even my 2 year old. So if you are thinking you cant do it, think again!!! Easy!!! Easy!!! Easy!!!
This bed is pretty darn well made and my 9 year old loves it. Seems pretty sturdy as well. The dresser is probably the weak spot, the drawers are a little rough, but usable. I had one of the smaller pieces of wood crack when i put the bolt all the way in, but it’s non visible, and probably won’t affect the life. For the price, it’s hard to beat. I ordered a second one for my six year old.
The 3 drawer dresser, the book shelf, and the desk are standalone pieces that fit perfectly under the loft bed, so you can put some or all of the components under the bed or out around the room.
I put the dresser against the wall and the re is now space under the loft bed for a kids cave under the loft. My daughter loves it.

Great for the price
This bed is pretty darn well made and my 9 year old loves it. Seems pretty sturdy as well. The dresser is probably the weak spot, the drawers are a little rough, but usable. I had one of the smaller pieces of wood crack when i put the bolt all the way in, but it’s non visible, and probably won’t affect the life. For the price, it’s hard to beat.
