I was incredibly reluctant to buy this, went back and forth several times because the reviews are all over the place. But overall I very happy, heres some specifics.
Finish / The only reason this didnt get 5 stars is because only the front door was high gloss, the rest was not. That should have been made clear in the description. (The seller may have changed it now, but when I purchased this that was never noted.)
Assembly / I had ZERO problems with assembly, every piece I worked with had a sticker somewhere along the edge with a number that correlated to the picture in the instructions, so this was not an issue. Even if they didnt, not hard to figure out, not a lot of pieces. I also had ZERO problems with proper alignment, not sure what these other people are doing that needed to drill their own holes, but I didnt have to do anything like that. If youve ever assembled any flat furniture, this is easy. And dont do what reviewer Brooke did below, she assembled it backwards. Those vertical panels you see on hers in the back, should be on the front.
Sturdiness / This is a TV stand, not a launch pad for your Cirque du Soleil stunts. I opted to mount my TV to the wall, but before I did it was sitting on the stand. I had no issues at all with sturdiness when you use it for what its meant for. My TV is 58.
Size / Yes, this is smaller, but the dimensions were listed in the description and this is EXACTLY what I wanted and knew I was getting.
LEDs / Again, not sure why some people had trouble, but the LEDs are fine. I used a small strip of double sides tape on the shelf to keep the LED strip in place, and then used a small 3M clip to hold the wire to the back of the cabinet. It worked fine. I also plugged my LEDs into a remote control wall outlet so I can turn the lights on and off with a remote. Love it.
Door / Front Cover / This unit does not have a front drawer, its a hinged cover. It was pictured that way when I bought it and I asked before purchasing to confirm. This is what I wanted, I did not want a drawer. My cable box, DVD player, controllers, and headphones are inside. Also, when I built this, I left the rear panel off so air could flow to those components. No one will ever know and it worked great.
Some people had trouble figuring out the hinge, if it doesnt work on the right side, move it to the left. You dont need to be drilling any new holes, theyre already there.
Overall I very satisfied with this unit, looks elegant in my man cave, has a very clean look. I would buy it again.

It was ok to in assembly but the lights keep falling off but I just made the bracket a little bit tighter with a pair pliers it worked
