it is made of wood but it is pine. dont expect too much .shielf are tiny. and robo vac all the time stac on the front open edges. Generally it is ok, I even mounted the adjustable frame on it without any problem.
I purchased both the bed frame and headboard packages. It shipped and arrived before the posted ship date. We had one problem that one of the boards was split during shipping. Customer support replaced board right away.
The instructions are easy to follow, but wow there are a lot of screws to screw in and I did it all by hand. The bed is really sturdy and does provide a decent amount of storage.
We fell in love with this bed immediately. It was a little tedious and time consuming to put together, but it was not difficult. It is absolutely stunning in our bedroom, it classed up the whole space. The storage capacity is exactly what we had hoped for. We ordered a new mattress to go with the bed frame, but put our old mattress on the bed frame until it was delivered. It even firmed up our old mattress!! Everything about this bed is fantastic and we cant wait to order the matching headboard!
Im not sure easy is the adjective Id use, it definitely took some effort and paying attention to detail. That being said, it was well worth the time and money spent. Afterwards you will one of the nicest and well built pieces of furniture you will probably ever have an opportunity to assemble. This bed is perfect for people who are limited on space or that are like me and simply dont like dressers. The ONLY difference I would like addressed is simply a few more options of colors/finish.
I dont write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to leave one for this bed. I was a little leery to buy this because I read reviews that mention ta days to assemble the bed. This is simply not true. If this is what is holding you back, just buy it. If you have a basic wor knowledge of shapes and numbers, youll be fine. Not counting the breakdown and cleanup of my old bed, this bed took me about five hours to assemble. I had zero help, and even broke for lunch and a couple snacks here and there. Dont get me wrong, its tedious and monotonous. But it does not take eight, ten, more than 24 hours to assemble like other reviews state.
Youll be hunched over for most of the assembly, so if youre old like me, your lower back will be super sore when youre finished. But the end result is well worth the labor. The bed is very sturdy, and the storage is ample. My wife and I fit our socks, underwear, t/shirts, a few books, slippers, and several other clothing items in the bed, and still have a few compartments that remain empty thus far. The storage in the middle of the bed doesnt make much sense (although it is meant to be long/term storage for items you dont need much), as you have to lift the mattress, and remove slats to access it, so we dont have anything in there. Dollar for dollar, this is an incredible storage bed, and I certainly dig the appearance, as it doesnt look like every other drawers/in/the/sides storage bed. Its a wonderful addition to our bedroom, and I very highly recommend it.

Started with box 1 and it had all the pieces numbered and the instructions for the whole bed. The instructions were easy to follow. Took maybe 4 or 5 hours to complete. We have a very small room with barely any storage options. This bed took care of that problem for us. We are very happy with this purchase.

Assembly Does NOT Take Four Score and Seven Years!

Read and look at the instructions.
The frame to hold the mattress looks like it goes in different holes, so just lay out the frame and see where is falls.
