I originally chose his bed frame because my house has a Farmhouse theme to it, and I loved the rustic, simplicity of the . I also liked how reinforced and strong it looked. My husband put it together and we discovered the only thing we didnt like about the bed frame is the is very slick and the mattress slides around easily! There is nothing the hold the mattress on the frame, so we drilled some extra holes on the sides and stuck two stained boards on each side to hold the mattress in place. It worked great and actually looks good, but it was half annoying to do this extra work. Other than that we love the frame!
This is really pretty in person the details arent that visible on the pictures. Lots of nice hammered details. Its a little bit flimsy but for a guest bed its perfect.
Taking off two stars because some of the slat pieces didnt fit very well and needed to be hammered into the proper shape. Otherwise, it went together well and seems sturdy enough.
Came promptly. Took me an hour and a half to ensemble it. Every part is labeled with letters which made it much easier to follow instructions. Very stable frame.
A minor downside we found was that our mattress slides very easily now. If anybody leans on the bed, the mattress nearly slides off. Well have to put something on the bottom to keep it from doing that.
