Honestly, this product has exceeded my expectations for the price. Our main problem was that it looks like someone properly made the drawings in the instructions, and then realized that some of the holes which tell you how to orient the pieces are on the BACK of the piece in the image, and thus not visible, so they went back in and drew them in with a pencil. The holes that are solid on the drawings should be visible, while the soft gray ones are actually on another side of the part. That said, we figured it out and the only thing we had to take apart and put back together correctly was the very first part we built.
My husband likes that the rungs of the stairs are welded, not screwed on. I think the rungs are too narrow, and find them painful on bare feet.
We got a strip light for the underside, a magnetic whiteboard, and one of those key hook things you put on the wall by the front door to hang on the random board attached to the desk. The desk itself really needs some support underneath, and will NOT support much weight, but the shelves are sturdy. We used an 8 memory foam mattress, instead of the 6, and I am satisfied with the height of the railing. We used the cardboard shipping box under the mattress to give it just a little bit of support.
Make sure you include the weight of the MATTRESS when youre deciding if this will work for you. Unfortunately, with the mattress weight, my daughter and I cant lie in this bed together (yay quarantine weight).
The directions are vague and do not highlight a few structurally significant steps causing us to have to dismantle it and start over. Once together it looks great but be sure to bolt to the wall. Very wobbly
Arrived quickly, not a terrible assembly-need help of 1-2 people for some parts. Wood” for desk is cheap but will work ok for teenager.
Buy a thin twin mattress. Ours was too thick and the railing doesn’t go above it. Added a toddler rail to it so kid doesn’t roll out.
Overall, a decent Loft Bed...My daughter really wanted this one for Christmas...Assembly instructions could have been clearer on critical areas in terms of part orientation, bolts, etc...I had to redo a few areas because of this...THIS LOFT BED MUST BE BOLTED TO THE WALL! If bed is not bolted, it will rack when a child climbs up the ladder and shifts on the mattress at night...my child really wouldnt sleep on the bed till i secured it to the wall...In order to NOT have the memory foam mattress come through the bottom rails, I placed a 1/4 piece of plywood under the mattress...the problem was then the rails rubbed against the wood and caused a horrible shreik of metal...had to insulate with rubber strips under several areas...
Again, I relatively sturdy frame, just be prepared to re-engineer certain annoyances...
Love the bed! Its great to sleep in and then hop on to my computer below. It definitely is an amazing fit for my bedroom. The only complant I have is the ladder is painful on my feet to go up and down.
A screw was missing; my son contacted company they appear to have ignored his plea ... no response. The kids love their new beds. Now they have some floor space and a desk.
This bed is ok. It looks nice but is wobbly and a pain in the neck to put together. Different-sized screws were mixed in together with very little difference in screw size to the naked eye, so a lot of wrong screws went places they weren’t supposed to go which made assembly take all the more time.
Assembly was difficult due to bad instructions. Once assembled it was perfect size area below, desk large enough to work on. Stairs need padding so I bought black pipe foam and it was perfect. Total space saver!

All good except the instructions

Looks good but VERY difficult

Space saving
Not the best instructions to follow, but overall nice and space saving in spare bedroom

Wish the company was responsive.

Eh… it’s ok.

Cute, space saver but flimsy
It’s very cute, but not that sturdy and that was disappointing for the price
Overall good!
