Bought two 3 chairs and a 5 chair for our living room. Judging on the picture I thought 3 would be perfect for my 5 year old and 2 year old to recline in (as well as my daycare children). The 3 chairs are HUGE! like definitely big enough for a big adult to lounge in. The 5 chair wont be here til next week (we bought this one for the 12 year old) but we will be returning it, because no matter how amazing our Tetris skills are there is no way we would be able to fit all three chairs in our living room and still be able to function. I was a little worried about some of the reviews stating these dont fluff up... but dang it if they arnt like putting a marshmallow in the microwave and in just a few hours, unlike the documents that come with it that says 5 days to fluff - not sure how much larger these things will get in the next 4 days but Im hoping not much more! or we are gonna need to have a search party trying to find the kids! Quality is awesome and have already withstood Olympic style jumps.
I bought this item for my fur babies (dogs). They love it! They cuddle together on it. The item comes compressed and easily expands on its own on a few days. Im very happy with this purchase!
super comfy but the smallest size is bigger than most regular bean bags so do the measurements before purchasing. Love it and my dog and I both fit comfortably
Id never heard of a memory foam beanbag chair before, so I was curious to see what it was like and if it worked effectively. Well, my kids love it. So, yeah, it does!
Upon receiving the chair, there is some assembly required. It comes with a set of instructions, the outer seating bag and the inner lining already filled with foam. The inner foam bag is vacuum sealed plastic in order to minimize shipping space. Since it was compressed for shipping, the foam is in a block and it needs to be broken apart with your hands in order to properly distribute throughout the inner lining bag. After initially setting it up, it takes a couple days for the foam to expand fully.
The instructions instruct you not to open the inner liner, and I agree with that. The inner liner has a double zipper to ensure that the foam cant escape and make a mess. I did peek inside out of curiosity and Ill agree that the inner liner should not be opened (it made a mess). The double zipper is a great idea because it ensures the foam stays put and allows you to remove the outer cover for washing without having to worry about a mess.
Breaking apart the foam isnt too much of a challenge, though Id suggest taking your time to ensure its well broken apart to avoid big clumps. Once that is done, you put the liner into the outer bag and then roll it around to puff it up.
Im really satisfied with the build quality. The outer liner is well made of a heavy microfiber material similar to that used in some couches. Its durable and uses heavy stitching to hold it together. The zipper is covered by a flap, which also hides six metal grommets that are there to allow air to enter and escape the bag during use. The inner liner is made of a heavy nylon material. It is likewise durable and well manufactured with heavy stitching. The aforementioned double zipper on the inner liner is a pair of zippers, one atop the other to ensure nothing can escape the bag.
So, how does it do as a bean bag chair?
First off, when they say this is for kids and teens, they arent kidding. Its really not quite big enough for a full sized man such as myself. The bag puffs up nicely when you roll it around, but the foam compresses easily with heavy weight. For lighter bodies, such as kids and young teens, the compression thing wont be as much of a problem. My kids weigh in the 60 pound range and the chair holds its shape for them. If I sit on it though, its usable, but compresses significantly. If it had more foam in it, it might work for adult use, but as it is, its definitely intended for kids and smaller teens and thats fine because thats what its advertised as being for.
The chair will compress with use, but it seems to do well enough with uncompressing itself after a few minutes. With use it does get a little bit of a misshapen look as the foam doesnt expand to fill the bag entirely, but you can always fluff it up as well if you want it to have fuller appearance
But whats the ultimate answer to whether or not this is a good product?
My kids love this chair. In fact, my six year old daughter insisted that I put her words in this review, so here we go:
I like this chair because its comfortable and we can jump on it and it stays poofy and doesnt explode and its really cool. And you can sit on it and watch TV and sometimes Daddy puts his feet on it for a foot rest and his feet are stinky so he shouldnt do that. I like this chair and we should get another one so we have one for each kid.
Well, there you go. Daughter approved.
This is a solidly made product and quite effective as a chair for its intended use. The only thing I think that could improve it is more foam. If they added a third more foam this sack would be perfect.
Is it better than traditional polystyrene or foam filled beanbag chairs? Yeah, for the most part. The memory foam is quite comfortable and the build quality will ensure we get to use it for years to come.
I bought this for my great Grandson, and he loves it. Beautifully made and very sturdy. Now it looks like I will probably have to buy my two Great Granddaughters one also.

The cover zips off to wash, that is the best part for me. My son loves it and it doesnt look like it will flatten any time soon.
