We ordered this to have space under the bed in our apartment guest room to store items. I was able to assemble by laying out the items and following instructions. Our problem came when we tried to attach a headboard bought separately. While both the headboard and the frame had adequate holes and plates they did not match up perfectly. I still like both products and it was a minor nuisance. Two individuals, which in our case is two seniors in their 70s, can move the frame to the final location once assembled in the room where it will go. Assembled Quickly.
Came to my house packaged well. Everything was in the box everything fit, no defects or broken parts (small issue w/ the included wrench). However, this took way longer then I thought to put together. Definitely a 2 person operation. I wouldnt have been able to do it with my daughters help. I would have been better off if someone told me Yeah, toss the instructions off to the side. Just use common sense and youll get it. The instructions are confusing. I kept grabbing a piece to bolt on to another piece after loo at the picture, but then having to refer right back to the picture / which I did endlessly because its not crystal clear and I wanted to make sure I was doing it the right way. Once I tossed the instructions off to the side it went together smoothly. The included wrench kind of held the nuts in place but once I started to crank down on the alllen wrench, the nuts spun within the regular wrench. So I had to get a pair of pliers to firmly lock down on the nut while I cranked the other end with the wrench. BTW the wrench included works but its so tiny hard to get any leverage. I used my own wrenchs that have a thick, big handle on it which made it 10x easier. Tonight will be the first night my daughter sleeps on it. Shes laying on her bed right now watching TV and just going off of that, there are no issues. Ill update this if anything fails.
Overall, I recommend this product. The pics arent how I would have taken the shots. I forgot to do it but my daughter captured the two pics that I included. Not sure how helpful they are. Almost forgot the main reason why I chose this model; I wanted her to have a bed where the mattress does not recess at all. I wanted this kind where the corners of the mattress are flush with the edges of the frame. I could slide the mattress right off if I had to without having to lift it up first to get it out of the recess.
BTW / the mattress is brand new too which is an Olee Sleep Galaxy Hybrid 13 (full size).
UPDATE
So one week of my daughter having it and the frame is solid as a rock. The under bed storage is very helpful (the reason I got the 18 version). The combo of this frame along with the Olee Galaxy 13 hybrid mattress is aming. Ive been laying in there with her to watch some movies and the frame is rock solid. Im so glad I went with this version (wood slats and the mattress goes right even with all the corners so no banged shins). Always great!
I used this product as my bed frame. It was real easy to assemble and very sturdy. Im still using it to this day and i purchased it over a year ago. I thought even though it stated it will hold over 500 pounds, i didnt belive it at first. Well i was proven wrong. Im not over 400 pounds, Im about 220, and I was very pleased with this product. This works.
Easy assembly, sturdy as heck! I love how much stuff can be stored underneath. This is awesome for a dorm or small apartment bedroom! The only drawback is how often Ive banged my knee, as the Q platform is about 5 wider and 3 longer than my Q mattress. Also, the center support on each side and at the foot of the bed are magnets for my tender toes! Adequate quality.
This is a fantastic product. It was very simple to put together and it holds my very heavy mattress with no problem. No crea or noise of any sort. I love it Good price.

Seems really solid / However, putting it together was a debacle

Old bed frame squeaked lick a mouse all night. Hated it! This doesnt. Very happy! Do the work.
