Basic. Bed looks great! But after completion of my set up I noticed I was missing my wood slats. I needed these so that my mattress wouldnt sink through the frame. Had to go to a store and buy my own just to finish.

Easy directions. We just bought a house, so Ive been assembling a lot of furniture. This bed is to be praised for its simplicity, clear directions, and great packaging. The whole piece is very sturdy and I am very pleased with the overall quality. I wanted a low profile bed for a smaller bedroom, and this totally fits the bill. I had never had a bed that didnt take a box spring before, so I was a little worried about that, but my husband and I find it to be very comfortable.
Your typical under bed storage box fits well too.
