Very easy to assemble! The whole box is super heavy so make sure you have a friend to help you carry it into your room. Love the look of the wood. No squeakiness and super sturdy!
I purchased the full-size frame for my generic (medium firm) memory foam mattress, and its very sturdy! The slats are fairly close, so the support is amazing. I had been using a metal platform frame, which assembled in 2 twin-size pieces. It was good, but having changed to the wooden, Im sleeping better! I was seriously looking into new mattresses, but decided to update the fame first, and Im glad I did, because it actually improved my mattress!! I dont feel stuck anymore, and actually get good rest.
I can store large duffle bags and boot storage bags underneath, with room to spare. Im a warm sleeper, but it hasnt been any hotter with this frame compared to the metal. With the quality of the wood and color, it looks great, too!
Another big plus for me, I can lay and sit on the side of my mattress without sliding off. I couldnt do that on my metal frame! I really look forward to napping and sleeping now!! Love it!
Update 6/22/21 - still love it!! The only thing which has been kind of annoying is Ill have to tighten the bolts every 5-8 months or so. Theres probably an easy fix, its not bad, just every few months it feels wobbly.
The only (minor) hit is that the bed was advertised as being constructed of cherry wood. The wood is cherry, I believe, but it is glued up from small slats, so its not a continuous piece of cherry. But for the price, its great....
Ive assembled many furniture items from many places. This bed is the most user friendly assembly process Ive ever done. I would love ALL furniture to be like this. The holes and screws fit PERFECT, the instructions were clear, the parts were labeled very well. I had normal hand tools read to use because the tools normally included with these type of products are junk. But not there, the included ratcheting hex/allen wrench made it a breeze. A+!

This bed is extremely sturdy, and it was easy to put together. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Looks great in our guest room.
