Very good and solid bed. I highly recommend it! My oldest is 12 and he sleeps up. NO problem at all, because its very strong. Good material, good price!
The item look good ,just they send me one was little broken.the top twin one pillar was bend little bit .I was very hard to connect it,and the white color little bit get rusty.everything just so so.
My boys love this bed! It was relatively easy to put together, the instructions were pretty straight forward. I would recommend looking through the steps before starting since it is possible to put some pieces together backwards and/or upside down. Be prepared to spend a few hours putting it together since there are a lot of pieces.
We have had it for a few months now and it is sturdy enough that my rambunctious boys havent managed to damage it or even loosen it slightly at all. The space between the top bunk and our ceiling is a little short but that is not a failing of the bed and they have learned to duck when up there. I would definitely advise anyone shopping for a bunk bed to get this one.
We got this bed for my 5 year old. It has literally only been assembled about an hour, but the overall quality seems acceptable. Im about 135 pounds, and I had to climb onto the top to finish assembly. Even with my fear of heights, the bed seemed plenty sturdy. My biggest issue is that the final step, putting these little plastic clips over the support bars (the ones that go under the mattress) was...well...Id love to use some colorful language to describe it. Suffice it to say, that part took longer than assembling the entire bed.
What I finally came up with was using painters tape to hold the clip in place, holding a pair of needlenose pliers against the tape, and hitting the side of the pliers with a hammer. That took me from about a 50% break rate and at least 75% failure rate to about 80% success. Its a good thing they sent extra clips, though I still ended up several short. I think by the time I was done, Id broken at least a dozen of them! My 5 year old was helping me, and I really do NOT use language, ESPECIALLY around my kids, but Ill admit to slipping a time or two. I was beyond frustrated. I cant justify rating the bed lower because of one, non/supporting component, but they REALLY need to come up with a better way of locking the support bars down!
Very, very solid! Packed very well. Arrived with no scratches even though outside box was damaged in shipping. It came 5 days before the day it was supposed to arrive, and all the parts were there were labeled. It took me and my 8 year old daughter about 4 hours to assemble, but I was very methodical and slow. We did an inventory of all parts before we began, and I read other consumer reviews for helpful hints. I even switched the ladder to the other side and did so correctly!! Only negative about the bed is that the ladder rungs are thin, round and hard, so they have a tendancy to hurt the bottoms of my daughters feet. Im thinking of getting some swimming noodles and attaching with double sided tape around the rungs to lessen the impact.
The bed is well built and sturdy // especially considering the low price.
The only complaint, as others have mentioned, is it is easy to goof the instructions and get in trouble when it is time to secure the ladder.
My suggestion: Mount the ladder BEFORE connecting the cross/rails and securing them with the plastic snaps. That way you can make adjustments to place the ladder in the right orientation BEFORE reaching the point of no return. I ordered and set up two beds. On the first, I goofed and had to go to home depot to buy a bolt, a washer, and a nut and we had to drill an extra hole. On the second bed, I followed my above suggestion and we didnt have any problems mounting the ladder.
We have 2 boys and I must say this bunk bed is very manly and they love it. The frame is rock/solid and doesnt wobble. This doesnt bring back old memories of creaky bunk beds from summer camps.
Thanks to everyone else who posted reviews and warned about getting the holes to face the right directions so that the ladder can be attached. I put everything together in 3 hours mostly by myself, with my wife helping from time to time to hold something up while I put a screw in.
Also like how you dont need box springs. Saved a ton of money and space. I like it so much Im ordering another for our guest room. Its nice the beds can be put side/by/side rather than stacked, so you can easily adjust for couples or kid sleepovers.

Strong
My kids love it. Strong an comfortable, just wish the top bunk railing was higher. My 4 yr old uses the bars as a jungle gym / tough bed
Decent quality, Made in USA, Easy assembly...until the final step

Great Trundle frame
A little time consuming to put together, but this trundle is very sturdy and comfortable. We are happy with it.
