I love my new bed because I can finally sleep without animals. They love in under my bed! They have their own little cave/like room under there, so whenever we stay someplace else they always squeeze under the bed at night, whether they fit comfortably or not! This bed is the perfect height so I can even put their kennels under it. Its not too high, so I nixxed the ladder and just step on a sturdy night stand to hop on. It is also a very handy stand up desk for daytime when I like to spread out my paperwork. Its lightweight snd easy to movesuch an easy fun space saving way to set up a small bedroom. I love it! Did not disappoint
One of the legs was missing the predrilled hole needed to attach one of the side rails. The wood cracked slightly in several places when assembling the bed. Still seems sturdy, but expected better quality for the price. highly disappointed!!!
This bed frame was so stressful to assemble after reading all of the reviews. We were so careful and still had one spot of the wood split!! My husband pre drilled the holes and also shortened the screws. We also did the ribbon trick for the slats. After its assembled it looks great, but Im very worried about durability with an 11 year old using it. Needs improvement in quality.
This low loft bed is in a small basement bedroom with a low ceiling. I was worried because even though it gets high star reviews overall, some of the critical reviews worried me. Im pleased to say that it came in perfect condition with all pieces, no cracks or splinters or broken knots. Finish was perfect condition also, and assembly was 2.5 hours from the time the box was delivered until we had it fully set up to go, with 2 adults and a screwdriver drill attachment. It is very sturdy!
Its true that holes arent drilled for many of the screws. The headboard and footboard have small punch marks to indicate where to put the brackets. I was nervous for splitting the wood in that area, so i drilled very small pilot holes and it turned out fine. The other holes that are not drilled out where the slats connect to the bed rails. I also drilled out pilot holes for the support beams. The slats have holes though so I just screwed them through directly with no pilot holes and it turned out fine with no splitting.
Pay attention to the pieces which are numbered on the edges, and some also have direction arrows. Some identical looking pieces arent quite!
Some reviewers said the support beams were sharp underneath. Ours had 2 sharp corners and 2 rounded/off corners so be sure to put the rounded ones down before screwing them in.
As a final note, this can accommodate a massive amount of under/bed storage!! Ours is for a teen so underneath we have a dresser (ikea NORDLI), clothes hamper, file cabinet/turned/bedside table and cube storage unit (ikea EKETwhich fits perfectly under the footboard and the light gray is almost an exact color match). Then there is still a ton of space behind it for other storage or making a little hidey hole for sprawling out, though at this age my teen cant fully sit up haha. Good Quality for Cost
its very sturdy and a nice bed, but all of my parts were a bit off. each hole was in the wrong spot, i received a few broken assembly pieces, and the allens key i received stripped every screw i put into the bed frame. unfortunately when i have to take it apart, the frame will not be coming with me as i cant get the screws back out now. some of the holes werent pre/drilled deep enough, which resulted in me having to hammer them in. it was very hard to put together, but now that it is assembled is holding up to its expectations. Overall you got what you paid for.
After reading negative reviews I took my chances with this bed and Im glad I did. My 8 year old wanted s loft bed and she is so happy with this one. Its sturdy and i have to say, of you screw too tight you will check the wood (i saw this complaint in this so wanted to clarify). Now to the conds. I had no instructions to go by but i was able to find assembly instructions for the twin bed on Google (my bed is full). Despite slight differences i was able to figure out the steps. The part and tool numbers matched so i was able to identify each one. I am a single mom who put this together by myself with the assistance of my 8 year old who helped me hold some parts in place while i screwed the other side etc i didnt have an electric screwdriver bit i managed. Overall it was s great purchase for the price. Love it
Very sturdy, great quality wood and hardware pieces. So glad I bought this for my daughter, not super high up but with the storage space available this bed opened up a lot of space for her smaller room. Highly recommend this bed! We have no dislikes
My son loves the bed, however both support beams broke within 2 weeks . He only weighs 150lbs. The bed is supposed to support 500lbs Pretty disappointing purchase for the price.

Durable
Very sturdy and easy to put together. My 10 year old loves it. You wont regret it!
Worried about durability. Cute but maybe not worth the stress.
