Its sturdy if you build it right. The wood is soft so it will get bruised very easily. I was in a time and money, and space crunch so this was def a Good investment. I live in nyc and Im a teaching artist so you know things can get very inconsistent. Functional design
I really cant say, since I ordered the twin in espresso and received the full in white. What I received is very sturdy considering I am a mostly grown man. I am using an 8 full size memory foam mattress, and I get adequate sleep. It was very heavy and hard to move while boxed, and I will have to disassemble it if I need to move it. Assembly required a hammer and an electric drill, not provided. however I would not recommend anyone buy this.
This was the perfect height for my child. Was able to put book shelves below amd create a reading nook/ lounge area underneath. I like how sturdy it is when put together. Would recommend. Good and inexpensive
I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews where people had quality issues or complained of difficult assembly. It does initially appear to be a large task when you lay all the parts out, but it goes together relatively easily, ensuring the four corner posts are oriented properly is about the most difficult part. I was able to assemble this by myself but it was a but difficult to get the side rails on without help, two people for that part will be necessary for the average person. I bought this for a child but tested it first, I weigh 240 pounds and felt comfortable and didnt have any concerns when I laid on it to test the sturdiness. Just as pictured very happy with my purchase.
Having to manually drill out every single self/tapping screw location with a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw just to have a shot at installing this bed was the most time/consuming, wood dust/producing, and disappointing experience Ive ever had. Make sure to have a Drill on hand, as I only had an impact driver, which would completely destroy the top of the screws. The boards that support the mattress were half bowed, and the amount of room you have to screw the boards in makes it incredibly frustrating.
But after hours and hours of tedious work, the bed frame is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, and it allows for plenty of under/the/bed storage. I am 61 so I dont use the latter, I just jump in, which allows me to have 3 dresser drawers along the long side of the bed. Overall I would say get this bed if it fits your needs and you are looking for a cheaper alternative to some other loft beds. But keep a drill on hand, and dont attempt to use an impact driver to screw anything in. I would be returning
Came with all the necessary tools, and parts. Instructions are easy to follow. Ive had it for a few months now and its held up well. I knew how tall it was, but once I went under there was but cramp. Best for small kids or just storage for items you dont need access to all the time Decent for the price
This bed is awesome! We bought it for our 5/year/old son who wanted a raised bed. Its big enough for him to grow into and tall enough that it feels like a bunk bed without the added height for him to jump out of (gotta love kids.). Its very sturdy, it wasnt too difficult to put together (took 2 people 2/3 hours). Ive gotten in and out of it to make the bed and I feel totally safe in. The stairs are a little thin for bigger feet but see above about kid jumping out of bed. Comfortable and high quality!

Love!
My daughter absolutely loves her new bed, easy to assemble and underneath we made her a little fort! Very cute, looks just like the pictures.
Seems to be good quality after initial assembly

The pre/tapped holes are impossible to self tap by hand
