Bought 2of these bedframes for home in the Keys. They are sturdy and strong. I was able to paint and put them together in a couple days. They only thing I noticed is that the mattress tends to slide around on it with activity.
I put this bed in my 6 year old sons room. The bed is sturdy. I like the unfinished look but this is very plain. Assembly was easy but long. Lots of small boards. You basically build a bed! I wish that the head board was taller.
Was very happy with the bed frame. Been sleeping on it for over six months and its still sturdy, no creaks, no loosening of screws and bolts. I was able to put this together by myself as well. Just took a little patience and a couple of hours set aside to work undisturbed.
Some people have complained about the lack of a lip which lets mattresses slide around, and this is true. But it isnt a problem for me. Just a small nudge now and then to realign it.
Well made and quality item. The metal is beautiful and exhibits beautiful craftsmanship. Although it came in a box with a lot of pieces, it went together quite easily. We also bought this bed for a pop-up style trundle and mattress to go underneath and that worked out perfectly with the 8 trundle mattress. It also arrived really fast...even over the holidays!
We were so impressed with everything that we are looking for other furniture to buy from them.
