I like that the screws are painted to match the wood, gray in my case. There was a scratch on the center of the face of the footboard. It wasnt huge, but noticeable being in a often seen location. One would normally lower the stars for that, but the companys customer service was very polite and so quick to respond and send out a replacement board. Only had to wait a couple days for it. I was very pleased about that, especially since Id been looking for bed frames for two months to find one I liked and thought would last. Put together, everything is screwed down nice and tight and bed is very solid. Very pleased overall and would recommend.
Purchased this item. Was very hard to put together as the holes didnt line up. 2 nights later the slats started to break. Returning item because bed is not safe. Very disappointed in the quality of this product for the price paid for it.
Its not terrible, but we need to buy more mattress support slats. The support is very spread out, and will not support a mattress for a long time.
There was damage to the foot board, but not enough to make a return. It is also awkward height for a really good mattress.
UPDATE: 13 months after purchase, it broke. My three year old is not that heavy and it is utterly destroyed.
We will not be purchasing another from this company.
Quality workmanship! Delivery was much faster than expected date and didnt have any damage on the box or the inside. Assembly was simple and easy for the most of part as long as you pay attention to the instruction that has only pictures but no words. The hardest part was to build a head board! This part definitely requires 2 peole! The slats dont stay still in the holes so they kept falling so one person needed to hold the ones already inserted while other one was trying to insert next one. The bed is beautifully painted and made sturdy. I slept with my 4 year old son over night and had no squeaky noise or felt uncomfortable at all. We put 8 inch mattress and its fitted perfectly and looks great! There is still enough space to put some storage boxes under the bed so that is nice.
100% satisfaction The bed frame is very sturdy and easy to put together. I use it in a spare room only when we have guests. It is easily stored when not in use.

Assembly was pretty easy but not as easy as some reviews would have you believe. ( it took me about 50 minutes)
I got this bed because I wanted to use it with a trundle and I was glad that the trundle fit (with a thin mattress)
The only small complaint I have is that its pretty low but that makes it great for kids so it does not bother me.
Would definitely buy again.

slat broke immediately
bed looked fine and went together relatively easily, but then as soon as i put on the mattress and lay down on the bed, one of the slats broke.
