It arrived on time and of course the box was enormous and heavy! The instructions were easy to follow. Me and my husband put it together. You definitely need two people for certain parts. All the holes and screws lined up well. I didnt have any parts or pieces broken, scratched, or missing.
After it is put together: Without the
futon mattress on the base it slides up and down easily, once the mattress is on it was almost impossible to transition from couch to bed form. I hope with time and use it will become easier to transition it. It doesnt really squeak or rock a lot. I was concerned with how sturdy it would be for the price and I am pleased. It was bought for my son who is almost 10 years old. It says the bunk bed has a 200lb limit so he is well below that. I havent tested it against any heavier weight. If this is your budget price then this frame is a good deal and it wont disappoint. I will update if we start to have any issues. Very easy to assemble!
My 7 and 4 year old love this bed. They wanted to share a room, and a bunk bed was the best solution. The ladder is a little uncomfortable on bare feet but my daughter doesnt complain about it. The bed is sturdy, my husband and I have climbed into the top bunk many times. I read the reviews before buying and took everyones advice of leaving the bolts VERY loose until the entire bed was put together. Putting it together was time consuming but totally do/able. Takes up less space.

It looks really good but it isnt as sturdy. We ended up putting a ply on both bunk beds to get extra support. It didnt seem like it would hold up without it. So far so good. Assembling was kind of a pain. Comfort.
This did not come with the clearest instructions at all. The pieces have a sticker on them with each corresponding letter according to the manual, however some of the letters were faded and we had to play a guessing game to make sure we did it correct. A week after I purchased this it went down in price making things even worst. Too ly to take everything apart and try to return, not to mention they charge you a fee to return. I wouldnt highly recommend this at all. Its very basic starter bed and get the bunkie board or youll ruin your mattresss. Not as easy as people say.
