I had quite a few interruptions that took me away from assembling this cabinet, but Im guessing it required about 60 minutes to fully assemble.
The drawers work good, and although they dont pull out very far, its nice having paper, envelopes and printer ink all at the same location.
My printer fits perfectly on the top of the cabinet, and it seems plenty strong enough to support the weight.
I considered dropping a star because the small wood screws that are used to attach the drawer slides and also the casters, are actually the wrong type of screw. A flat headed screw would have been a better choice, rather than a tapered head. Plus the screws dont sink in very deep. If it ever becomes an issue, Ill just replace the screws.
Other than that, I love this printer cabinet.
Nice looking file cabinet. I needed something to replace a temporary unit I had in this place and this looks so much sleeker and it’s very functional. Took me over an hour to assemble, but I was also watching tv at the same time. Word of advice to anyone buying it though. The bottom drawer requires a bit of attention. You need to make sure that you’re using the correct right and side panel to align with the placement of the rails. I thought that they were the same but they are not and needed up having to take apart the bottom drawer to make sure the pre-drilled holes aligned with the bracket as pictured in the instructions. Hope that helps someone.
Wonderful File Cabinet
I couldnt be happier with my new file cabinet. The drawers slide smoothly, and close automatically unless I pull them all the way out into the locked open position. The height works well for holding other office items, such as my pe and note pads. I bought it in black, and it looks great in my home office. I have a lot of contractors coming and going from my house, and its nice to have a place to securely lock my personal files. I like the 3-drawer configuration. I use the bottom two drawers for hanging files, and the top drawer for other items I want to secure.
I needed a rolling file cabinet with drawers to fit under my writing table. This one is great. Theres room on top for a hold-all. The front bottom caster is a great for keeping the unit from falling over. All these self-assembling furniture pieces can be a bit of a challenge. This one isnt so bad.

Our first time ordering the unit got damaged in transit, but made it right. This item is large and heavy and damage can happen in transit. It is important to inspect the box before accepting it for delivery. Im not the type to give a reduction in starts due to shipping issues.
I have been using products for years and will continue into the future.

I love my filing cabinet, it did take a while to put together, but looks great.

Use a drill
Highly suggest using a drill. With a drill its not too bad, couldnt imagine doing it all with the allan wrench/ screwdriver provided.
