I am an urban (recently minted) bachelor in a one bedroom who wanted something modern but small. This couch comes completely assembled...you just attach the legs. Easy Pie! Folds down to a full size bed...I slept on it my first night to let the foam mattress expand...it wasnt bad. Firm, the fabric is attractive and comfortable. Very little lumbar support, but it looks great and the middle compartment for drinks is great (buy stemless wine glasses...they fit right in securely). Id buy it again! Cheap, even if I use it for a year and give it away its better than renting, and it will be easy to store if needed.
The product came in the color as described with all the parts and contents intact. However, the back of the recliner is not covered in faux leather as pictured but with black underlining so I was disappointed. Overall, its not a bad item.
Great futon for our apartment! Having a little one and dogs in the household, I appreciate how easy this is to clean. This may not be the futon for you if you dont like firmness. This was pleasantly simple to assemble and is large enough to comfortably sleep on but small enough to save space. While its perfect for me (5 ft 3) my other halfs feet hang out quite far so take measurements into consideration if needed for a larger sleeper. My only complaint is how difficult it is to click back into a couch position but that issue may just be ours. In all, very pleased with the overall quality considering how affordable it is- our expectations werent too high, great if you need a simple and durable futon.
This futon was perfect for my office waiting area, it looks exactly like the picture and the assembly was very easy , it took no time at all to put together....love the look!!!!
Only thing I didnt like is that there were a few small rips in the faux leather near the cup holder..

Great Starter Futon
