I bought this bed to replace another bed for my wifes home office space. I thought it was a good looking bed for the price. Good reasonably price daybeds are hard to find where I live unless you buy from (2 1/2 hours away). First of all the minimal assembly required is an absolute false statement.
I consider myself a very handy person. I have made many repairs (appliances, computers, etc) and assembled many products (furniture, electronics, bikes) and let me tell you, this is THE most challenging, time consuming and frustrating projects (yes, projects) I have ever encountered so far in my 57 years of living. This is arguably a two person project, one if you enjoy unique challenges in life.
You will definitely need the following:
1. wood glue
2. time
3. Phillips screwdriver or drill for the wood screws
4. time
5. psychiatry or therapy appointments
6. patience
The most time consuming steps are the assembly of the wood slats for the rails. You will need some skills to keep them together to complete the sides and back. If you lose the hex tool life will be hard. It would be a good idea to group and lay out all of the parts on the floor before you start especially the rail slats. I started the assembly at 9 PM and stopped at 1 AM. I finished the screwing the bottom wood slats in the morning which only took a few minutes. Overall I am satisfied with the product and achieving the completion of this assembly.
Elegant and very comfortable This bed is a great buy for the money. It is not a one person job to assemble, it definitely takes 2 persons. Getting the back and side slats in is a real treat while you are trying to screw everything in place, this is what takes the most time. Instructions say 30 minutes to assemble not even close took just over 2 hours. Instructions are well written and easy to follow everything is well labeled also. Overall a great product and very sturdy.
Had to hire someone to put it together...A LOT OF PARTS.
The pic they showed implied that the sides were higher then they are. I wanted something more couch like.
Ive had it for just over five years now and it creaks and moves a bit. Not incredibly stable and Im the only one thats ever been In it.
I love the color, it matches perfectly with the other furniture pieces...it was rather easy 2 assemble but u need 2 people especially to put the rails in
Very pleased with the quality. I couldnt find this size anywhere, and was worried about buying it without seeing it in person first. It turned out great, and my son loves it. Very sturdy and not hard to put together if you follow instructions.
Boy oh boy...what a bear to assemble! Be ready. Send all your loved ones away and put on some calming music. The bed is sturdy and nice looking. Dont skip screwing in the slats...this makes the bed much more sturdy and ready for use.

Great price and very sturdy
It is comfortable and easy to store and assemble. Not an easy one to assemble for sure.
Bed spread
Comfortable and practical for small spaces I love this bed. But my queen size bed spread is to big, will a twin bed spread work? Thank you, vonnie
