I purchased this last year for my spare bedroom. I put an inexpensive memory foam mattress and my guests have slept very comfortably. The assembly is a little tricky so take your time putting it together.
Easy to put together, not as hard as people say, geez not that bad...only draw back is, once this is together, its kinda like furniture in that theres no easy way to take apart (like a regular bed frame) and move to another room, you would have to take out a lot of screws in a medium duty wood frame, assuming it would get wobbly pretty quick.
For the price it is a reasonable buy I was under the impression that furniture that needed to be assembled, was generally of pretty cheap quality and we just needed this for use a few nights a year when we have guests, so I was willing to deal with that. However, as far as I can tell, this is all solid wood and appears to be of really nice quality. It looks like it would cost a lot more than it does. As for assembly, reading the reviews will prepare you for the worst, and then you will probably be pleasantly surprised. I was able to assemble it without any help in about 90 minutes. As long as you think through each move about 2 steps ahead and dont rush, it will go well.

Be sure to pay close attention to the instructions as its easy to make mistakes or get some of the piecies turned around. The weight limit says 225lbs, but it easily holds 350lbs. Ive had numerous couples stay the night on this bed in my guest room and it is very sturdy

Sturdy and light!
Nice quality. well worth the price.
