Easy to put together and great exercise for my 2 year old and 5 year old. Dont forget to line up the screen before you attach the trampoline though - its easy to overlook that step and set us back about 20 minutes.
This trampoline works well for one 5 or 6 year old or maybe two kids that are a bit smaller or gentler. It works with or without the safety enclosure. Ours was missing the 6 straight bottom poles but the U shaped legs were still long enough that when I jump on it, its still 6 inches from hitting the ground so we just used it without those and without the enclosure. The kids have fun on it. Besides the missing poles the quality seems pretty good of the product and the materials. We have it outside and no issues with rusting or anything yet.
I didnt notice this before buying, but why is it that the competitor trampoline in the product pictures (pink, yellow, and green) look a lot like the trampoline that was in previous reviews? I actually received the advertised brand 4.5 feet trampoline of blue and yellow colors, with the foam cushion on the edges instead of what looks like fabric in the competitors brand. The kids and I actually love the vibrant color combination!
Although I love the foam cushion, I have had bad experience with foam-covered handles before in outdoor environment peeling or ripping and not lasting from my adult exercise trampoline. Hopefully, this foam concept cushions will fare well in the future.
I like it that the weight limit is 150 pounds. I intended to have 3, or even 5 of my kids playing on there. Together, they weight probably 140bpounds, but 4.5 feet diameter is not that big for that many kids. So far, there is no rip in the net or foam, but I havent had it long so I hope it should at least last until the kids grow a bit.
It also says building it takes about 20 minutes, not for me, I took 2 hours and I broke a sweat, but Im pretty slow when trying to build things. Although it wasnt too difficult to figure out the parts, some parts didnt fit properly and require extra force to fit. Other than that, my kids love it so much, and said its an improvement over using my small adult exercise trampoline with handle.
This is a great trampoline. Assembly was very simple - took about 30 minutes total. Even attaching the springs was not difficult at all. Quality is very good - it is plenty bouncy and both my 5 and 10 year old are able to play on it at the same time. Seems pretty safe - hard parts are all padded and the net prevents accidentally falling off the side.
