The cabinet goes together about as easily as any other flat pack furniture and it feels sturdy once fully assembled. One bad part is the stainless steel top scratches Very easily. So be careful what and how you put something on the counter.
UPDATE.I originally gave this cart 1 star because of the smell, we had opened the box and let it air out in our garage for about a week , I put it together with no problem, it is solid and sturdy and great quality. Would have given 10 stars but because of original strong odor that seems to be fading I gave it 4 stars.

We bought this cart for our very small kitchen to add counter space, a cabinet and drawers. Came quickly and well packaged. The box had some dings but its a box. The pieces are so well packed it didnt matter. The box is heavy, so be prepared for that. Husband and I team lifted it into the house. It took us about 3 hours to put it together. We had one goof up when making the drawers, we didnt pay attention to which way the wheel track was going. Had to take it apart and put it back together . Also, tip/ if you have trouble locking the locks, use something hard and flat to give you extra purchase when pushing it down. Pushing down on that small metal tab can hurt, but using something to push on it with, so much better. Also we use a wash cloth to turn the Allen wench. Its small and hard to turn, but wrapping it makes a huge difference. Once its all together, very sturdy. We have a portable dishwasher, and air fryer sitting on it plus the cabinet filled. Love the wheels for portability in the kitchen. The stainless steel top is sleek and came in great condition.
Take you time, read the instructions, organize all the parts. Lay things out and make sure it makes sense before putting together. Put the wheel tracks on the drawers properly the first time and you will be just fine. Would purchase another one if it would fit.
This island, (black+stainless top), was 70USD cheaper then the mostly similar island it replaced. It had a better top (though there are still faint machine marks you can wet/sand/polish away) and the casters and base are much sturdier, making carpet maneuvers much more manageable.
While the press/board is what it is, this is a very dense thick board, blemish free and packed very efficiently. (my delivery came in perfect order).
You can put as many heavy glass bottles as you like on the shelves (upright only) and the three stacked drawers are very deep and will hold plenty of things. The back panel isnt cardboard, it is presentable and plain. The included hardware is also acdeptable. Assembly is a resepectable effort and you need strength to close those nifty thumb latches (no twistlock cams, yay!) so the unit is secured along the edges.
If you like the style this island has plenty of functional room (you can even hang pot and pans from the side/bars) and is also a very presentable piece of furmiture. Who knows about durability with manufactured wood, but the finished product seems as good as it gets with compacted sawdust! Great Value.

Tbh its great, wish it was easily printable but Im sure with some good primer Ill be able to get it done. Biggest problem is the doors are uneven, the hardware that holds the doors in place are installed before arrival so I cant adjust them myself without leaving holes behind somewhere. Would be 5 stars otherwise.
This is one of my best online purchases and I recommend it highly. The box was delivered in such bad shape I was almost afraid to open it but there was not a piece damaged. Everything was in excellent condition. My son put it together on his own in a little under 2 hours. He said it was easy and the directions were clear. A lot of the hardware came preinstalled like the drawer runners, all the hinges, door magnets, etc. The doors and drawers lined up perfectly. This is a solid, heavy, quality piece of furniture. I especially like that the back is also wood and not that flimsy cardboard backing you usually get at this price point. I also like that the bottom of the drawers are solid wood and screwed on. I couldnt be happier with this purchase. Well worth the money. I would recommend this product without reservation.
