Okay so the look and easy to assemble, easy to adjust is great.
Why I returned it:
Its HEAVY as can be for such a small and convenient item.
And the main point I would like to impress upon you is that unless you have a really long leg from buttocks to knee joint, your legs will be sticking out straight when you sit and use it like a chair. You would have to scoot forward and sit in the middle of the cushion, never able to lean against the back. Its also VERY firm. You will NOT have a nice sleep on this piece. I added a foam pad and many blankets to it, and I was still extremely uncomfortable.
DO NOT PURCHASE this item unless you are tall, and dont plan to sleep on it or even relax very much. Also, its always best to measure your leg and compare the dimensions/length to any couch or chair youre considering.
No assembly needed. Purchased for its versatility as a guest bed if needed. Quality materials and no odor when unboxed. I plan on using for an ottoman mostly but also as a guest chair when I have people over in my small apartment.
This looks really good when assembled in all its variations. From ottoman, chair, to bed, its super easy to convert to each and it maximizes a small space. As a bed, it can be too hard for some. My friend reported it was too stiff to be comfortable so I will probably get a roll out mattress to help. Excellent value!
I have recently reconfigure my Chevy ASTRO van turned it in to a real camper l added shore power and batteries with a inverter replaced the captain chair with the aming sofa bed very comfortable if you are looking for a piece of furniture that can be just a box or a chair or a recliner and naturally a bed it saves space and money I would like to say its perfect
