Ive noticed something in the circular mechanism occasionally (who knows why, moisture in the air? Poor tolerances etc) rubs so loudly that for the first day I heard it (every 5 minutes or so) I thought some pipe in my house was in need of maintenance.
I think the surface finally rubbed down from the friction because I rarely hear it anymore but it was genuinely annoying for days. I came back from a 10 day vacation and the problem hasnt really been noticed since then.
Id buy it again, but they should probably remove Quiet from the title Interesting.
This watch winder seemed like a good value and was successful in winding my watches. The major issue with it is that it scratched my nice watches since it is basically just plastic or cotton covered with carbon fiber designed tape. Also the pillows were too small for my watches and too big for my wifes watches.
You get what you pay for, if you dont mind the watch getting scratched or potentially not fitting the pillows, then go for it but in my opinion it would be a better idea to get a watch winder which has a one size fits all pillow and a soft, non/abrasive surface. The damage done to my watch cost as much or more to me than the machine itself. Beware. Poor construction.
