Its Heavy! When it arrives. I liked that it is all real wood, not particle board. A couple of the pieces had a little splitting, like natural wood does. They didnt appear structural. I didnt like the crappy little hex bolts for almost everything. Power tools with torque settings have been around for a long time, wouldve been nice to use them, and saved a good bit of time. Have a helper for assembly, as that was pretty big. One point the directions had a layout issue, they showed one angled left and then the next step was angled right. It involved a little imagination. Seems sturdy though. I like that the lower part is almost on the ground, lower than even a toddler bed. Ball end hex keys helped speed the process. Meets Expectations
Great bed but issues with the slats as they were to short and now are a safety hard for my 2 year old. This bed all and all is fine, the assembly took 2 people which wasnt a deal breaker but the slats are a serious issue. I have emailed the company about to issue but it seems to be an issue they occur often as I read other reviews where people had the same issue so you get what you pay for.
We bought these bunkbeds for our two boys, 4 and 9. The quality of the materials is awesome considering the price. I gave four stars for sturdiness simply because in my own, non/professional opinion,I feel like the beds arent super heavy. It would be best to fix eight these bunkbeds into the corner of a room and perhaps attaching a bracket to the bed and wall for more support. Just my opinion though.
I assembled this bed by myself in roughly an hour and a half. The directions were very easy to understand, even for someone who rarely assembles furniture.
As I stated earlier, weve all these bunkbeds for our young boys who are very rough and rambunctious. I couldnt see spending 800 or 900 on a set of bunkbeds from local retailers. They will likely outgrow them in a couple of years anyway. I am definitely very satisfied with the price of this furniture! Worth every penny.
This bunk bed is great for the cost. It is a lower profile bunk bed so it is perfect for the smaller kids. Great quality as well!! I am so glad we chose this bunk bed. Loving it so far!
Bought these bunk beds for my 5 and 2 year old so that we could transition the 2 year into his brothers room. I didnt want the 2 year to have the issue of falling off the bed so these were PERFECT! Put them up tonight and I love them. The only con? It takes a really long time to assemble and there are literally like 100 screws / Me likey!
Its super adorable. My highly attached to me toddler loves it and slept in it alone the first night. Very easy to assemble. My only disappointment is that there is a crack in the wood on one piece / it really bothered me but I was not about to pack it up again and return. So it seems to be holding up well anyway. For the price, its worth it and I love that its not low to the ground. I dont like my kids to be close to the floor. Love it though. It looks fabulous.
It was about a 3 hour job to put it together. There are times where you need a second set of hands to hold things together. Our kid loves it. Doesnt sit as high off the ground as I thought it would but thats fine. Looks great and works great!
