My 12 year old son has been using this bed for a few months now. It doesnt seem unsafe, but it is super wobbly. Not sure why. Im a handy person and definitely assembled everything properly.
Im about to add some comer pieces to make it sturdier. Lots of space.
Bought for our 9 year old daughter. She loves this bed!! It is well made, nice material and very sturdy. My husband had no problems with assembly, took him about two to three hours. The package is super heavy when delivered. I had to open it downstairs and take it up to her room in pieces, but I was already expecting that based on other reviews. Definitely a good buy! Needs.
The directions we received were for a different product so we had to some the puzzle of how to put the bed together! One bore hole was missing so we had to drill it in and two of the boards had small cracks that we had to repair. The corner on the desk was damaged. We werent able to fix it but we kept the bed anyway. We bought two of these beds. They created a lot more space in the room. They are sturdy enough for our teen boys. Since there were so many pieces and instructions for the wrong bed in the first box we opened, it made Construction difficult. The second bed was much easier to put together since it came with the correct directions and no damaged pieces. Buy It.
We ordered this bed for one of our kids. As far as assemble/it/yourself/beds, it was actually pretty straightforward as the instructions were clear and all the pieces were in the box. Naturally, it went quicker because we used a power screwdriver and not the little hex/key included. Having three people to help with the final assembly stage is highly recommended. The final bed with desk looks great and is stable. Not unexpected but important to keep in mind is the the ladder stick out about one foot away from the bed. Yes please!
I purchased this bed after trying out a full loft bed, which was a shaky/noisy disaster. This one is quite sturdy. I made sure not to tighten the bolts until after the entire thing was assembled, and then went around the entire bed a few times to tighten with the hand allen wrench. I did use an impact driver on the lowest setting for everything except the final tightening, as to avoid stripping out the wood screws where used.
Unlike some other reviewers I got the instructions in the box, and had zero damaged pieces or misaligned holes.
There are a couple of reviews that mention the bed not accommodating a Twin mattress // I measured 76/1/2 of space, which leaves a little bit of extra room on top of a standard 75 mattress. I dont see how a Twin XL would fit. Very helpful.
We looked forever to find a quality reasonably priced loft bed for my daughter. Shipping was super fast and all parts were packed perfectly/ no dings or missing parts. The box was extremely heavy and I thought I was in for it, but I only needed help from a second person a few times. I ended up using my drill with an allen wrench attachment (being careful to take it slow as to not crack the wood), which made things move along much more quickly. Both my daughters love this setup and I wouldnt be surprised if were ordering another one soon! Its an awesome bed and desk. Would give it 6 stars if I could!! Very compact.
Overall this bed is great quality. The wood is nice, the finish looks good but my biggest complaint is the hardware finish. If you look at some photos its shown with white screws/bolts however they arent white. All hardware is silver which is stands out when you look at the bed. Very deceiving based how how they have the photos edited. Very nice product!

Love the bed
I love the bed but all the bolts are really cheap the heads striped out an there wasnt one straight long bolt in the bag Fits.
