Ill start by saying this is VERY heavy. You will need more than one person to bring it into the house when its delivered.
That being said, I assembled this bed by myself in an hour. Very simple instructions and Im sure with two people it wouldve gone even faster. I was replacing an old hand/me/down bed which Im sure cost three times as much new. The bed would squeak getting in and out of it, which got really old. With this bed frame though, no squeaks here!
I love the color and padded headboard, and the fact the en s are velcroed so they dont moveand its VERY strong Velcro. It was tough getting all of the slags into place initially but once they were there, those things werent moving.
My only critique would be having screws to assemble rather than the Allen wrench. I understand the ease of not needing any tools for someone moving into their first apartment maybe because it really DOES come with everything you need. I just wonder what the long term of it holding together and whether I will need to tighten over time.
Otherwise, for 200 you really cant beat this frame!
4.5 stars/ Overall I think this headboard and frame are of excellent value. There are some minor details that reveal that it is not of the highest quality, however it seems to be very sturdy and well worth the money. Some of the edges did not line up flush (I am a perfectionist so many may not have noticed) and one of the plastic feet had a small crack in it.
There are plenty of supports to distribute weight and s to support the mattress. The s are easy to install. They are connected together and have Velcro to secure them to the frame to make it even more stabile. It was easy to put together and the directions seemed simple enough. It was heavy enough to be difficult to move by myself, but not impossible. I used pieces of PVC pipe to roll it on to make it easier.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for an attractive and sturdy bed at a great value.
Like the linen look fabric on head, side, and foot boards. The shorter headboard looks better than tall ones in our bedroom. Arrived in perfect condition even though one end of the box was torn open. Relatively easy assembly even though the instructions have mistakes and dont provide details. Is pretty solid when assembled. The s with hook loop hold/down is handy after understanding how to install them. When we tried placing a new king size memory foam mattress on it, the frame dimensions were less than then the mattress. Being foam, we tucked the sides and ends of the mattress into the frame edges. Makes sheet installation a little more difficult, not severe. Since dimensions of foam mattresses varies, and framed ones usually dont, I suspect the bed frame would work OK for framed mattresses.
Over all the quality is nice the directions are clear the way it was packed is nice and organized
My only issue was I hard ordered a KING and the side rails came in two pieces so 2 pairs for each side and well I got 1 left and 3 right I was so tired at this point I turned the hardware around and I guess made it work though it doesnt exactly fit tried to contact seller but email was suport@support.com which obviously wont get me anywhere also the s are a little short so its like no big movements or a might fall Im just optimistic
its not awful, but I can tell it wont last more than a year or two at most. if you have a 14 mattress you may want to consider something else. The headboard isnt all that high and my 14 inch covers most of the headboard.
Nice sturdy bed frame. Was relatively easy to put together by following the instructions. Probably took about 1.5 hours. All hardware fit perfect. Headboard is a little short if a box spring is used under a 12 mattress. The only problem was the box was badly damaged but the only damage to the bed was a small smudge to the headboard but it was easy to clean without any permanent marks.
The bed is fine, but I ordered gray and received linen. We didnt realize it until it was together and so Im keeping it, but I had to return all the linens since they were bought to match a gray bed, not a linen one. Disappointing.
Love the look of headboard and frame. It went together with no issues with one step of their instructions being wrong but easily figured out. Great looking frame and head board that was very sturdy and solid. But one major issue.
When reading the reviews we saw many users said it was too big for their queen. So we measure our mattress and looked at the product description and their description is wrong they show that a full size width is 60 its not, it is only 56 wide. that doesnt fit or mattress. Had to return it. A shame because I really liked it.
