    Outstanding customer service.

Easy to assemble. A bit shorter than we thought but perfect for our little one to sleep on the bottom. The ladder hinge broke kind of quickly, BUT the company quickly sent me replacement hardware no questions asked. Outstanding customer service.

    Wrong bed delivered

Receiver a completely different bed. Only was a loft bed, not a bunk bed.

Holes for assembly actually line up!

We needed a bunk for our cottage. It is in the same room as a queen bed, so we wanted to coordinate looks. I didn't want it to overwhelm the room with our clipped ceilings. AND I wanted to be able to make the bed with out having Cirque Du Soliel pulleys hoisting me up. This low bunk does the trick. I centered it on the window wall rather than in a corner. So much easier to make a bunk bed. This does not have as much space between the bunks as I would like. But it's better than others. Even the 7 year old can not sit up straight in the bottom bunk. But I used the 8 in twin mattress we had from before. If I bought one, I'd go with a 6 or possibly 5 in mattress for more head room. But it's fine. It works for people with little ones - they won't get hurt if they roll out of bed. ASSEMBLY: You need 2 people, and you need to look at the picture instructions VERY closely to make sure you have left vs right side, inside vs outside, etc. If you do that, the holes line up perfectly. We used the Allen wrench that came with the set. That's all we needed. It took us several hours, but it has a nice solid feel. There are less expensive versions of low bunks. I wanted at least 30-36 in of headroom. And I wanted to be able to assemble it with the least amount of drama, trauma and swear words. It's worth the extra money.

Instructions can be a tad unclear at times.

Good bunk bed for a small child. I can get on the top bed as a 200lb male but I wouldnt recommend it. Not all parts are painted thick enough to cover the wood underneath but its not that bad. Biggest problem I had was my own fault. Do not over tighten the bolts! You will split the wood real fast that way. I put some wood glue in it and clamped it down till dried. Other than that its well worth the money.

    Very nice

One issue I've noticed so far is the wood is very soft. My toddler dropped his sippy cup on a piece of the wood during assembly and it left a noticeable dent in the wood. The assembly directions could be better. The images aren't perfectly clear. This low bunk bed doesn't feel like it's taking up too much room. My toddler is still a little small for it, so my 5 y/o is only sleeping on the bottom bunk for now. The head space between the beds is too low for an adult to sit comfortably, hope that won't be too big of an issue as the boys grow. I love that the ladder is detachable and I can just lay it on the top away from the toddler.

Good bunk bed for little kids

This short bunk bed is perfect for my 7 and 2 year old. Standard twin size mattress fits just right. I am very pleased with the quality of the materials. I would recommend to anyone looking for a short bunk bed.
