Ive only had the bed for a few hours so, these are just first impressions. Ill try to remember to update in a few weeks.
Had some shipping damage but it was VERY minimal and was just superficial. One of the ladders sides was dinged up but the UPS guy apologized and reported that the box was damaged upon delivery so we could claim it easier if needed. That aside, this bed is AWESOME for the price! The quality is pretty high given the price point. Only had one or two “quality issues and they were an easy fix. One was just drew placement for the bracket on the slide. The pre marked hole was right inline with a bolt. Not a big deal. The other was purely cosmetic. Had something red (paint splatter, maybe?) that bled through the white paint on a rail that supports the bed. I put that on the bottom of the back side. Ill never see it. The bed is incredibly sturdy and my kids LOVE the slide! It was even super easy to put together. I think it took me about 1 1/2 hours or so to get all together by myself. Instructions were very good with detailed pictures, which I like over small print telling me what goes where. So far, I would highly recommend this one. Its even solid wood and not made in China! Cant go wrong with it!
DO NOT BUY THIS BED! The smell is the worst I have EVER encountered in my life. No furniture stinks like this one. We left the bedroom window open and the fan on for two weeks and it was still intolerable in the room. I was in there for one hour to organize and wound up with a sore throat that went on for a week. Two weeks later, Im still battling severe headaches triggered by the horrendous smell. My nose itched and my throat burned and it would not go away!
has HORRIBLE customer service. They are charging us for return shipping on the bed curtain we purchased separately plus a 20% restocking fee, even after I explained what happened and how their product negatively impacted my health. Basically, when its all said and done, Ill be out about half the cost of the $50 bed curtain. They are crooks! Honestly, Id rather lose $25 than leave their stinking chemical ridden bed in a room with my helpless two year old breathing the toxic fumes!
There is a reason their beds are NOT Greenguard Gold Certified! Its because they are NOT independently tested to ensure they are truly safe for your child. Do yourself a favor and choose a different bed. This bed is beautiful, I definitely LOVE the look of it. But, it is not worth the headache it will cause you (both literally and figuratively)!
The box was a little beat up but everything inside was okay. I absolutely LOVE how sturdy it is... as parents, we can climb up for bedtime stories without hesitation. Its pretty low, which is perfect for our 7 and 4 year olds and the color is a pretty navy blue. With a memory foam mattress, weve decided the slats are kind of far apart so bought some additional slats (that run the other way) for extra support. Again, doesnt matter with little kids but might matter over time or if adults are in there. Great purchase!! Definitely glad we went with these since theyre so sturdy!!
The bed feels sturdy, but like others have said the railing is not too sturdy. In less than 12 hours there is a crack in the top rail. It took about 2.5 hours with 2 people to put it together, directions were ok. It looks nice, fits great in small rooms and rooms with low ceiling.
If you have put furniture together before this will not be much of a challenge. Fairley easy and intuitive. I would add some wood glue to certain joints but other than that well designed and easy to assemble. Slide is a bit aggressive but not too bad.
A little bit of patience is needed when you first start putting this together but then it just flies after that. Very sturdy and is a low bunk (great for safety). Love it!

We love this bed! Best purchase ever! Bedtime is fun now. Great quality solid wood. Soooi much fun highly recommended!
Not for rough children
Great quality, but the bottom bunk is small and my son keeps hitting his head. Probably best for more cautious children.
