This bed is well constructed and was really easy to put together. Much easier and faster than some previous reviews have mentioned (it took my wife and I about an hour).. Everything from the hardware baggies to each piece of wood was well labeled to make assembly as easy as possible. We ordered the Solid Wood over Full bed, Natural the finish on this bed reflects quality workmanship and attention to detail. I like the nice touches like felt on the backside of the ladder hardware to prevent rubbing, the beveled edges on wood, the added ridges on the ladder steps and the recessed hardware. The bed also allows for the addition of a trundle, which we wished we had ordered if we had the additional resources. The instructions are only illustration, but it's pretty obvious if you have a good co-worker with you (thanks to my wife). This bunkbed does allow for the top bunk to be located on either side of the bottom bunk, this allows for greater options if we need to relocate this bed in the future. We wouldn't hesitate to buy this bed again, as we procrastinated for too long. The 14 in. guardrails on the top bunk also provides increased safety and a parents peace of mind that they wont accidentally roll out!
Again, I just want to emphasize how grateful I am that have taken the time to engineer solid constructed furniture made to last. Its very refreshing to see real wood “ready-to-assemble furniture focused on high-quality, modern design and affordability.
This bed is nice for the price. I'd say the quality is about like Ikea furniture, and the assembly was only slightly easier than Ikea. Took me about 2 hours by myself to assemble. I'd say the color is definitely a true white. The platform with no box spring is a nice height for my child, but I would feel this is a bit low for adults.
This bed went together quickly and easily. It is sturdy and secure. The dimensions are exactly what was advertised. The price is excellent in comparison to department stores. I could not be happier with this purchase.
Quality commensurate with price, and customer service after the sale is phenomenal! Had a minor issue with a defective part and the manufacturer responded immediately!!!!! Very impressed.
Delivery was a snap. The bed came in a single box, which was strapped to a double-long pallet, so no damage at all to the box, or the bed. Yay!
Fastener hardware isn't labeled, but the instructions are surprisingly good. Not the *bestI've seen, but close. Overall, assembly was a BREEZE, and went MUCH faster than I expected. Overall, it took about five hours, but that also included a trip to the store to buy two mattresses, I'd say around 2-2.5 hours of actual assembly and an hour of unpacking before, reading instructions, and cleanup after. I used ball-end hex drivers on a cordless drill to speed up the fasteners.
The beds are sturdy, solid, and pretty. There is a small amount of smell from the paint, but it's going away quickly. All in all, there's nothing to find fault with. They're not the cheapest, but they sure are good!
The instructions and drawings almost made it fun for me and my wife to assemble. We plan to use it for when our grandson visits. I am the least handy person I know but the well thought out and well marked pieces were easy to assemble ( less than an hour). The materials are good quality and we expect him to use it until he reaches about 6'2, about 14 years from now.
Great quality for price. Clean lines and solid construction. Bed came in perfect condition and faster than expected. Took about hour to assemble. Few of the directions weren't too clear and had to predrill holes for bracket, but all good.
This bed is beautiful and solid. Delivery was nice and professional. My daughters love it! Only missing one star because the directions came with pictures only. Would have been nice to have some written instructions. Other than that, we figured it out and got it together with no problems. Love how this bed is real wood and it is very sturdy. My husband who weighs 245lbs, tested the top bunk. We are very impressed with this bed and we know it will last us a long time.
I did SO much research before committing to these beds. Heres why I ended up buying these and loving them...
-Super sturdy design: When we built them, I had my husband (a GIANT) bounce around on top and bottom bunks. Not so much as one creak.
- Beautiful color: We got the espresso. Very rich looking.
-Detachable ladder: love that our litte one cant clamber up to the top unsupervised in the middle of the night. The ladder also slides on and off really well, as it has a soft lining that protects the wood underneath.
Hardware: the kit gives you stickers to cover the hardware, but the oil rubbed bronze hardware was too cool to cover. Its not super glaring, but the uncovered hardware goves the beds a cool, industrial vibe.
-Transitional design: I love that down the road, we could easily turn these into two size beds.
Tips: This for sure needs a lower mattress profile. We got foam mattresses, which work well for me and our kiddo, but my husband can feel the bed slats through them, so if heavier people are laying on them, youll want a low profile mattress that also has enough cushion to keep the slats from being noticeable.
