Im not sure why there are so many bad reviews, I really hesitated buying this bed because of the reviews but Im glad I purchased it Weve had the bed up for a month now and have had no issues with it at all.
Anyone that says it takes 5/6 hours to assemble, either doesnt know how to use basic hand tools, has no power tools or they have a difficult time following instructions! The hardest part to assemble was the drawers, you definitely need a cordless drill, other then that, it took me less than an hour to assemble. I recommend wood glue.

I love the look and the storage. But I do not like the frame. Its very weak. The wood that attaches the frame are very thin and flimsy. One cracked already and we had to replace it with a thicker piece of wood. Im thinking they all we need replacing soon. Dont over think it, youll love it!!
The only issue was getting all the parts needed for assembly. Customer service was terrible. I had to look people up and was able to personally email Joshua who thankfully took up my issue and handled to. Noone else would call me back. And email was not getting the problem fixed where a 5 min phone call did. That being said its a great product. I suggest getting the extra wooden slats Love the finished product!!
The pegs on the supports by the side drawers are weak. I weigh 240. Also, when I lifted it to slide a rug under to prevent sliding, one of the long pieces of wood that supports the slats cracked. I bought extra support slats that run opposite of the ones it comes with. When it was all said and done, it seems pretty sturdy and I do like the look a lot. Pain in the butt to assemble. Hope to improve in the future
The bed looks beautiful, and thats about where the compliments stop. The wood used to make it is cheap, one of the side rails was warped. The slats are extremely flimsy. Its a king size bed Id assume they knew adults were buying. Im not celibate and one night with my wife split one of the slats. We are not over weight, this was seriously upsetting. I had to go buy 2 particle boards that covered the span of my bed in order to reinforce the slats after less than a week owning the bed. The legs that help hold up the bed as well as keep the drawers from sliding out when opening them are poorly secured to the side rails. I was able to make it work but I feel like had I not been handy this bed wouldnt last a month. I was actually pretty disappointed.

So this bed is of great quality for the price. I bought this for my daughter and it makes the quality of my bed seem inferior. This bed was on another site and then I found it here cheaper. The only questionable part was the thin drawer bottoms. Even with the support, I can see something happening that will put a hole in the unsupported sections. Time will tell.
Things you may want to know:
The bed comes in three boxes. Headboard arrived the next day. then a mild wait of a few days for the next and then hours until the next. Strange. If taking up stairs alone, unbox downstairs and take a few trips. One box was too heavy for me.
If you are a novice at putting furniture together, seek help for this one. The one sheet of paper instructions leave much to be desired. Use a drill not those trash allen wrenches or a hand screw driver (dont over tighten)! Charge your drill all the way (I did not because I didnt feel like waiting so low power it was). Lots of screws. It took me about 2 hours to put together alone with mild breaks.
The four screws that are placed in the headboard and footboard to hold the side rails on, barely screw them in until after the side rails are attached. I struggled with getting the first one on because I thought it was loose enough to slide on but it wasnt.
Cheat Code: If you like to clean under your bed, dont attach the bumpers on the drawers. My daughter can now pull out the drawers completely to get the vacuum under the bed without moving the bed. I thought of this one all by myself. LOL Im pleased with my purchase.
I bought a 12 inch mattress with this bed and I did not need a box spring. However, from the other reviews, I purchased the slats to go with it and it works great! You definitely need two people to assemble (finished in about 2.5 hours), but we used a power drill which saved us SO much time. The drawers are not attached; but they fit nicely in so you dont notice that they dont slide in. Really nice looking furniture.
I took forever to put it together, plus two of the drawers were broken , but I didnt want to waste time sending it back. So I just kept it, other than that it is a good one. Happy with purchase

Mine says delivered but only 1 box came. A head board wont fit in there! Update: 2nd half came today. Better than the picture!

Beautiful bed.that said, took a bit to receive all 3 boxes but ultimately delivered Its a nice design though.
