This is the second bed of this type that weve owned and by far a better construction design. Its compact and space saving, assembly is average difficulty and value for the price a definite. Sturdy and not squeaky when top bunk occupant tosses and turns. Ladders at both ends create extra stability and convenience for rearranging furniture at a later time. Only one issue/ and that was that two of the support bars were missing when we received it. Other than that, the product itself is GREAT. Love the finished product!!
The bed fits in my small bedroom perfectly. From start of opening the box and putting the last screw in it took one hour and a half to assemble. The instructions but very easy to understand. Its easier when you have two people assembling the bed. Im pleased with my purchase.
Pretty nice solid bunk bed. Got the grey color. Walmart sells the black one, but i prefer the grey one. I put a short queen memory foam mattress in the bottom rack and it works. Took an afternoon to assemble it, but its fun and would be more interesting to put magnets and stickers.
It was missing some pieces, but managed to order some more easily through the manufacturer website free of charge.
Updated review:
According to manufacturers sticker on the top bunk bed, kids at or under age of 6 arent supposed to be on the top bunk since they may sustain fatal injuries if fallen from the top bunk.
Buyers beware.
My kids love this bed. It was fairly simple to put together, by myself. Took about three hours, but would be faster with two people. The box is VERY heavy, so I just brought the pieces in a few at a time.
Two things: be sure to look at both the images for each instructions step, and also the image of the finished product, to make sure youre not putting pieces on upside down. I did that twice and didnt notice until the next step, but it wasnt a major ordeal. Also, I used foam rug/grip tape on the bottom bunk, between the reinforcement bar and the cross/slats, so that it wouldnt clink every time someone moved on the mattress; it works like a charm.
It is true that the bottom bunk is slightly smaller than a full/size mattress. I rolled up an old comforter to fill the space until we can get something more permanent.
This bed is perfect for my son and my grandkids. He has a one bedroom apt so he needed a bed for him and his kids every weekend.
Granddaughter insisted she and Dad could set the bed up so they did it. All tools needed came with it. I believe it was an Allen wrench.
I havent seen it set up, but I will and I hope to get some pictures of it to add to this review. Really nice looking furniture.

Great product for the price. East to put together, my husband and a friend put it together in about an hour. Very sturdy and my 4 year old LOVES it!
