Weve owned this for 2 years and are still happy with the purchase. This bunk bed set is sturdy and well made. Theres definitely a low clearance between the bunks and Ive hit my head more than once but that doesnt happen to my kids. Nonetheless, I actually like that theyre shorter because its a smaller distance for my older daughter to climb up the ladder and makes it easier for me to change the top bunk bedding. We didnt have trouble with assembly like others on hereIf you have a small house like us, just remember to do the last few assembly steps AFTER you bring the bunk bed into the bedroom. Fully assembled, it would be difficult/impossible to get through a doorway.
We bought this item for ours sons. Currently our four year old is on the bottom bunk, and the top bunk is unoccupied. The item looks great, and the construction seems very . Our only gripe was during assembly the long pieces that run along the side of the bed, are poorly labeled, and very similar looking to boot. Several times my wifes commented, why are some of these labeled, and others are not? This led to us having to take apart the beds to flip pieces around, and adding an extra half hour or so the process. Once they are built they are a fine looking piece of furniture, but be warned, and be wary.
If I had been sent the instructions and THE WHOLE BED, I would have given this at least 4 stars. BE CAREFUL getting this bed from Warehouse. It said it was, like/new well, I guess their idea of like new is to send the bed in a damaged box and missing pieces. I will say that I was refunded immediately. Im sure if you get this bed new from there will be a complete bed for you, i hope.
Love this bed it was one of the only ones that would fit in the space I was working with and you can not beat the price. Im very pleased. It was not to difficult to put together the only one problem is that the bottom stair did not have holes to attach the ladder to the bed. I just pre/drilled and added it myself other than that m very happy with my purchase.

We were using them as seperate beds and the bed that was techinically the bottom bunk just broke when my 3 year old sat on it. She only weighs 30lbs and we do not allow any jumping on the beds or rough housing. I cant believe it! Thank goodness she wasnt injured and we werent using as the traditional bunk beds because both her and my son could have been seriously injured. Such a shame because they had a great look and were affordable. But I guess it is really what you pay for. And naturally I cant return because it is outside of the return window and I have had no luck getting ahold of a human at the manufacturer.
The bed itself is sturdy and well made. Assembling it was an adventure given the lack of labels on the parts and somewhat vague directions. We received two boxes of parts / both marked Unfortunately, some were pink and from another model bed, but they all went together and dont look too bad when together.

My 5 year old son absolutely LOVES this bed! He tells everybody, including the check out lady at the supermarket about his two beds! I love the subtle design in the headboard and footboard and the clean lines of the entire bed. I could do without so many bolt/screw holes that you can see just looking at it but its a small price to pay for such a great set of beds. Its very sturdy and well made, I dont worry about my son sleeping on the top bunk at all. The lower bunk is very short, as I have read in many other beds even before making my purchase, but I wasnt planning on sleeping in it anyway and it is the perfect size for kids. We have small rooms so I didnt want a larger profile bunk bed, this almost mini version is just what we needed! My husband plans to do something to cover the holes as well so they are less noticable. The areas where the pieces will stay together for the duration he used glue and the bolts to ensure their durability but Im not even sure that was necessary. We just read that one reviewer said they werent very sturdy so we took the extra precaution. We love that we can take them apart in the future for 2 separate beds or keep them together. Very happy with this purchase!
It came in two boxes. In the first one there were planks that go under the mattress / their ends were very rough, but I thought that it will not be visible and is not a problem for structural integrity / though I wanted the bed to be nice as it was for my daughters. I continued with the assembly. Do you know the quality? This is much worse. The dowels were very loose and were falling out by themselves, the edges were rough or even chipped. The paint is very thin (the texture is visible through) and poor (in the photo you can see what seems to be a defect in the they fixed and glued, but the glue got through the paint). It looked ugly! One of the headboards did not fit at all / the difference was about a 1/4 of an inch (see photo). As I figured in about 15 minutes / the parts it was made of were not glued together properly. I hammered it in for 1/8 that allowed to insert the loosely fitting dowels. I was getting mad, but still hoped it would be OK. But then I got to the climbing ladder piece that would hold a climbing child / it was split at its edge (see photo)! I did not want to take any chances with the safety of my kids. It took me about an hour and a half to disassemble and put everything in the boxes, so that the boxes would close. Very disappointed!
My daughters love this. I did not realize when I bought it how low the clearance under the top bunk would be. There is less height there than in other bunkbeds we have had. The girls dont mind, but it is a little more difficult for my husband and I when putting our daughter to bed. However, it probably would not be too much of an issue if we did not have to have a baby rail there. Also, I would not suggest it for big kids(teens). My daughters are 2 and 4.

No screw driver tool for cross/screws. Hard labor to assemble by 1 person but I managed enough to assemble them.

Didnt Last 6 months / waste of money.

Defective parts. Lousy paint. Parts dont fit.
