I bought this to replace a bonded leather love seat that looked like trash after a couple of years. I was quite impressed at the tiny size of the box it came in and thought it surely must have been 1 of 2 but no, its all in there. Unpacking it all was like watching a clown car as more and more pieces came out of nooks and crannies. It all went together pretty easily (though I think Im missing a couple of pieces, it hasnt seemed to affect it. I really should call them).
The only problem is, its just not that comfortable. Its smaller than the love seat I had before and it seems a bit over-stuffed and the sitting position is high and the back low. It seems that in the balance between making it fit in a small box and making it a nice piece of furniture to use, they leaned a bit far towards being too clever. We only use it for guests though and the price was really good so I feel bad for taking a star off but I really feel I must. Its possible that a bit of use will see the cushions soften up a bit and it become more comfortable and if it does, Ill revisit this review.
Exactly what I was looking for! After our 75 pound puppy chewed up our den sofa, I began searching for a inexpensive replacement. This more than fit the bill. It is small enough to fit nicely in our den, but large enough to seat 2 comfortably and for long periods of time. Assembly was a breeze.
I was moving to a junior bedroom apt where full size 70+ sofa was a big no no so got this love couch in my budget.
The assembly can be tricky if you get confused with the part number but at some point you will figure it and will put it all together, took me around 30 minutes. Me and my wife together weight 240 lb so easily we can comfortably seat on the couch and still have place for cushions. Overall looks of the couch is good and doesnt look very cheap.
The seats are not hard but neither comfy like the $600+ couches. But it will not hurt to seat for long time, only concern I am having is the back supports being too thick that actually pushes me middle of the seat, and if I try to lean back I feel I will skid and fall! So some time I just take the back support out.
As other people have said, you cant believe the box it comes in. Youd never dream there is a sofa in it. It was relatively easy for 2 females to put together. I am very happy with this sofa. It is good looking, the cushions are way firm (I wish my mattress was like them) and am just pleased period.
I was so confused when it came in a box but once pulled out and put together, it is a really nice love seat. The marzipan tan color is a little lighter than the picture shows but its still a nice, soft neutral color. It does have a bit of a smell once its out of the box, but that fades away pretty quickly. The material seems like it would be easy to clean but it was a bit harsh on my skin at first. Its a nice little love seat and fits perfectly into my tiny apartment!
This couch was delivered right to my apartment and the awesome UPS driver actually helped me carry it up three flights! It was easy to put together, with only 5 steps (which include putting pillows in their cases). The couch is a little narrower than expected but definitely perfect for a small place. Definitely worth the inexpensive price- looks more expensive than it cost too!
I bought this sofa for my daughters home. She lives in an old colonial farm house the doorways measure 32 wide so this was perfect. My son-in-law put it together in no time. Its comfortable and a great price considering she has small children its not worth spending more. The midde section does have two support blocks so we will see in time how it holds up.
