Color: in some of the photos the Marzapan color looks like it has a shine to it, however I would like to assure you that it has a matte look and the color itself it fairly neutral.
Assembly: assembly is a breeze, the couch is held together by 6 bolts. With the center support its integrity is maintained.
Quality: You probably wont grow old with this couch, however I would have to say the quality is impressive for the price.
Should you buy it?
If you are moving into a small apartment, or a dorm I would say go for it. If your looking to replace your current couch at home just be aware that its fairly small and probably wont look right in a large living room.
Came a day early. Its super comfy I couldnt be more happy!! Would highly recommend. Extremely easy to put together took 15 mins for hubby to fully put together.
Was able to carry up from garage a piece at a time. Not too bad for an old man. Assembly was simple. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Viewing the video before arrival was helpful. Impressed that the fabric appears to be very good quality. Mine ended up with fabric pinched where the two sides meet in the front, which I could probably correct by loosening the bolts and carefully re-positioning the fabric, but can live with it and dont have the time to go back through that. Was well packed for sure and arrived by UPS even though all the tracking said was shipped by FedX. The UPS guy was perplexed by that also.
My only real issue was that one bag of the silica gel beads had a hole and left these tiny round things everywhere which took a long time to collect and dispose of. They are rolled everywhere and I might have not found all. If your package has these, remove them with care. However, mine was punctured when I opened the carton. Packager might consider a stronger container to prevent this. Apparently they did their job though because my loveseat had no factory smell when I unpacked it.
Look this isnt Pennsylvania House, but it is affordable and it is perfect for a gamers room or kids. Follow the advice of 4-5 stars owners and be patient when you assemble the couch. The color is perfect and the matching pillows are cute. Again, this is designed not to impress a Mad Man client. It is perfect for a singles apartment, a playroom or for gamers to hang out upon.
