Might replace the top with my own marble slab to fix the problem - and the stand is sturdy enough to hold it. Saw the same style as a credenza at a swanky Beverly Hills hotel so felt that I did not sacrifice quality for appearance.
I wanted the West Elm version of this table without the hefty price tag. The price point was great, obviously understanding it would be on the cheaper side. The top is laminate which I knew, but it looks really good. A the edges, there are some slight imperfections in areas but its to be expected for the price. Overall I'm super happy with this table. It achieved exactly what I wanted without breaking the bank and gave me the desired look I was going for. Would definitely recommend this.
