I really wanted this glider to work for us, so despite reading previous reviews about the ecru color, I ordered it. The photo unfortunately displays a color much closer to white, yet as others have said it is NOT white. It is so off/white I would consider it a tan/beige. Still, this chair has some major pros going for it / a big one being the affordable price compared to what is out there. It is very attractive and modern looking, and I loved how compact it was for our small nursery. The gliding/swiveling motion is awesome, and it felt very comfortable when I tried it out. The fabric is so soft / and you could easily prop a pillow behind you if you wanted somewhere to rest your head. I debated for several days if I could live with the color, but decided it just was not what I really wanted. I was sad to send it back, but it was so easy to arrange for UPS pickup! If only offered this chair in a true white / then I would have been in glider heaven!
Love this chair! We have twins and spend the majority if our time in this thing. It glides and swivels nicely, fits perfectly in small or large rooms. My husband is 63 and falls asleep in it all the time. Looks modern, great addition to the nursery.
This chair is aming! The UPS delivery men literally dropped it outside of my door on its side and it held up, nothing damaged, so its a tough little chair. It is true to color. It fits very well (Im 5 tall my feet actually touch the floor) but it also fits my 5 11 husband which is great. The fabric is very soft suede. Glides very smooth and goes pretty far back and the 180 degree swivel is awesome with the gliding motion. All in all my new favorite piece of furniture.
Great great chair! Definitely best for a smaller person but its a lovely chair that swivels and glides, and it will fit in smaller spaces. Very happy with the purchase.
I finally ordered this based on all the great reviews and the belief that it would be easy to return if I didnt love it. Thankfully, we LOVE it Its super comfortable and WAY better looking than the average glider. My husband and I regularly argue over who gets to sit in it. Although it seems much smaller than normal, were both able to sit comfortably (Im 57, hes 62). Theres space for a pillow or something as well, if you were to need additional back support. I would totally recommend this glider to anyone/ especially since it comes delivered right to your doorstep!
Most gliders are ugly. I didnt see the point purchasing furniture that was no ugly that I would refuse to use later as my baby got older I spent weeks looking for a glider even at contemporary furniture stores and baby stores. I finally settled on , but I was hesitant because I couldnt find it in any stores. However when it arrived in a box with free shipping I was very pleased. Rather than put it in the nursery, I put it in the living room since thats why spend most my time watching TV while Im nursing. The ecru color and great design was actually a great addition to the furniture that I currently have.
Initially, the rocking was so nice that it would put me to sleep while walking my baby.
We love this chair in our nursery. We got it last minute after our baby arrived and it fitted me perfectly and in the room. It is a really nice gray. The glide does not make a lot of noise either.
You cant beat this chair for the price. Its comfy and well made, perfect for a small nursery. Only complaint is its short so no head rest but thats pretty obvious from the picture. But I still love sitting in it and even my 6 foot husband is comfortable on it. Just dont plan on sleeping there.
