Its a great day/bed, well crafted, great quality, reasonably priced and delivered promptly. Its HEAVY, so use two people to get the package where you want to assemble it. It comes in a billion pieces (my last day bed came with bed completely assembled//this one doesnt). Im a 60 yr old woman and put it together by myself///took about 3 hrs///better to have 2 people to assemble. For the price, it was a bargain!
Had a slight dent in one of the poles but i think that was due to shipping and it isnt very noticeable. It was very easy to put together. It took me and mu husband about an hour to put it together.
This is a decent daybed, but its not very sturdy. The box came damaged and opened, and the backboard tubing had been dented. I was able to bend out the dents (mostly), but there is still evidence and the paint has minor chips where the bend was. The box containing the strut holders was missing, and Ive reached out to the company to get them. Not sure if theyll help or not, but the bed is assembled and works (barely). Im confident that, like other reviewers said, the will bend easily when someone lays on it. Until I get a few sheets of plywood to put under the mattresses, nobody is going near this!
The bed fit together fine, and all the pieces matched. The material is a tubing, so it isnt very strong and needs a little TLC when assembling. I can see how easily a little bump of the box could have dented the tube, and theres no recourse if this happens because you cant push out a dent in a hollow tube. It came missing the strut supports, so perhaps this will make the bottom a bit stronger.
Putting together took time but was fairly easy. All tools are supplied, so you just have to dig in and start sticking in the bolts and sliding in the mattress support tubes. Took less than an hour and did this myself, having unpacked all the parts in the garage and carried them upstairs one or two tubes at a time. The hardest part was actually getting the parts out of the box and transported upstairs.
Would I buy this again? Probably not. Id look for something with a little heavier construction and more durable . Design looks nice, but its pretty flimsy.
Ive only had it for 4 months when the screws began to bust. Its wobbly and that is just with a 4 year old and 2 year old sleeping in both the day bed and . Cant imagine if anyone over 100 pounds slept on it.
Weve had this bed for 9 months now. After a few months on the higher setting, the slats on my husbands side of the bed started bending badly. Neither of us is obese, so this was alarming. My husband put the bed on the lower setting and we havent had problems since. Hopefully it holds up for a while. Otherwise, it is a really pretty bed that looks higher quality than it is. I get compliments on it often. It also was not too difficult to put together, taking just under an hour.
This was a gift that we purchased for someone. Was what we expected, but we were disappointed that it arrived with scratches. It would be great if they also included a touch up pen, as that would eliminate people returning the item or parts for replacement
The worst part of my experience was trying to assemble it. This is definitely a two/person job. The directions do not mention a VERY important detail: do not tighten things too much as you go along or other pieces will not fit, loosely screw things in till the end, then tighten. I spent two days (one afternoon trying to do it myself, failing, contemplating returning it, then taking a break / another afternoon with a second person figuring out how to assemble it so the pieces actually fit together). We did call the manufacturer and got help, so that was good. Without calling I dont think we would have figured it out, but definitely not easy construction in my opinion. Otherwise, this product was very good. Its quiet, sturdy, and looks great. Its a bit low to the ground, but otherwise I dont have any problems with it.
Came in tall box and lots of parts w/all the bolts tools youll need. No instructions included, but not problem; got them online. Didnt take that long to put it together. Sturdy, no squeaks. Placed a 8 inch foam mattress on it. Not bad for a 300 total ensemble. And I slept very well.

Cheap and barely effective

Would recommend as a guest bed or something that isnt constantly used based on the slats problem.

DIFFICULT CONSTRUCTION / once youre past that hurdle, its great.
