You Need to be over six feet tall....

I m 5 5 inches tall and I couldn t reach the floor; I could not rock the chair. I was six or seven inches from the floor.

Big Man with Hip Joint Pain

Six (6) foot tall, 270 lbs, like many +55, I m beginning to very carefully choose where I sit. This chair is a definite winner! I was so relieved to find the seat height allows an EASY EXIT STRATEGY!! Just take your feet off an ottoman, rock forward, slide right off. No worries about not having a grab bar, cane, or helpful stranger to give you a lift! Back and seat padding is firm and ample, you may not want to get up even though there s no headrest. Turquois fabric is great color, and construction is sturdy. Buy a quality fabric protection product and spray fabric BEFORE ASSEMBLY (Free Expert Tip). Only 5 parts to assemble and was it fun to put together? No, but it wasn t the worst experience. My advice is to insert ALL receiving holes into the rockers as far as possible, then align them with the screws before attempting the assembly. You ll still need to man-handle the assembly. As the instructions advise, keep your screws loose until they all fit.

    Very nice rocker

I like this rocker bc it s a little more modern and can be used in any room of the house. Only issue is that I have to buy a ottoman bc I am too short to rock it back and forth. I m 5 4 and my feet don t touch the floor when I sit in it. It s also very firm, so I recommend buying a lumbar pillow to add support on your lower back. It goes well with the room and my husband (5 10 ) can fit in it perfectly so I m happy with the purchase. Unlike most room rockers this can move around with our home decor for years. No need to sell it once my little one grows up.

    Great nursery addition!

This is a great addition to a nursery if you are looking for something that is both comfortable and not expensive. The color linen is great too, kind of like an off white/slight grey coloring that goes with a lot of different themes.

    Beautiful, comfortable chair!

I love the color, structure and overall look of this rocking chair. I purchased it for my nursery, but I could easily put this chair in my living room as the quality is very good. It can serve as a really nice accent chair too. I like how the chair sits straight up and doesn t lean back too far. I also can rest my head on it. I m only 5 4 so taller people may not be able to do that. Lastly the arms are a good height on the chair.

    Not a Vermont chair

I would have rated 5 stars, but this chair is not a Vermont chair. It is a Mainstays Rocking chair. At least the one I got was. Still good quality and easily assembled, but it looks slightly different than the name brand.

    Worth the price

Good product and really easy to assemble. I m keeping this one unlike the other brand that I sent back.

    Scratched and Chipped

Although we decided to keep the chair as there were a limited number, we were very disappointed with the condition of the chair. I had to buy paint to fix the scratches and spackle to fill in the chips and gouges. So even though I do like the chair and gave it 5 stars for the most part, I had to give it a lower rating for the condition.
