So I do not write many reviews, but I was so very impressed with everything from the packaging to the quality of the cart. Absolutely the best packing job I have ever seen, not a chance of anything getting scratched or damaged during shipping. The instructions were the clearest I have ever seen. I actually enjoyed putting this together. The locking mechanisms they use instead of bolts were cool! You only need a screwdriver, although I did use my drill on a low setting for the wood screws. The cart itself it SO AWESOME. It is pretty and fits so well in my seedling room. I would highly recommend this wonderful cart!

Find a carpenter, friend, or YouTube video and build your own.
If you choose to buy this...then...
You need a second person to safely carry this in your house. Especially if you have a split level like me.
It took me 2.5 hrs to put this together. There are very few words that go with the picture instructions, but it's more that having a second person to help hold pieces and trade off using the screw driver is HUGELY important. I did it by myself, it is possible. I will have a callus, or sore hand for awhile from the repeated use of the screwdriver though.
The locking mechanisms they use to hold the majority of the system together will probably lead to the lack of sturdiness over time.
The doors and drawers do not line up. I included a video of how terrible the drawers are to use.
I'm disappointed, but there's no way I'm taking it apart and sending it back. I will just build my own when I have time or pay some talented person to construct something more suitable.

This arrived within 4 days of ordering. We had picked a different model for $550, but it jumped to $700 as I WATCHED. This looked like a good alternative, and much less than anything comparable. They call it engineered wood or whatever, but it's very firm and sturdy when assembled. The top was the biggest surprise. It's an inch thick, but looks like miniature butcher-block. And with the leaf raised, you've got room to roll out dough, or even seat a couple with a pair of stools. We're very pleased with it, we're using it more like a peninsula than an island, and we added 4 feet of counter top to our original 5. Plenty of storage space, and seems sturdy. I will amend this review if future events indicate.

This was the easiest assembly of furniture I have ever had!
