Took about three hours for me, a senior lady, to put this together on my own. Of course I can follow directions! It is sturdy and attractive. I couldnt be happier! It am using it in my pantry/ laundry area for storage and as a folding table. Wish Id had it 25 years ago!

I would not recommend this kitchen island
- the big drawer was to large and did not fit at all (could not be used)
- the white paint goes off like chalk. After touching it, your hands are white
- there's some mould-like dark spots on the main surface (see photos). This is under the coating, to it cannot be removed by cleaning
- generally bad quality, all wooden surfaces very rough except the main plate (which is mouldy)
Cheaply made. As previous reviews indicated items were missing from the included kit. Fortunately I had my own tools to rely on. The shallow drawer that I assume would be meant for cutlery storage is loosely fitted (no sliders) and is without any block to prevent it accidentally being pulled out all the way. No wheel locks to prevent it from moving around once placed.

The top is the cheapest product. I'll have to purchase a top protector because it scratched with my nails, not worth the money.

Cheap kitchen island not worth the price
I would not recommend this kitchen island - the big drawer was to large and did not fit at all (could not be used) - the white paint goes off like chalk.
