It was very easy to assemble, no damage, all parts were included and hardware was well labeled and included extras. We assembled it in less than 1.5 hrs.
I did not use the towel rod or spice rack on the ends of the island. They added more length than I could use. I plugged the precut holes with sparkle and you cant even find them.
The item was described as white. I was a bit skeptical as my kitchen has stark bright white cabinets and I felt certain they wouldnt match. As you can see in photo 3. The off white color does not match well. But it was easy to paint and looks great. I used good quality SW semi gloss and it turned out lovely
I usd hardware to match my kitchen cabinets and took the wheels off. I wanted more of a built in look and am very happy with the slightly lower height.
I do plan to add a granite top to match my other counters. But the pine top looks nice too. So Im in no rush.
I wholeheartedly recommend this kitchen cart /island. It turned out to be perfect for our needs and it looks fabulous!
My husband and I eat lunch every day at this cart. We love it. Great storage. Easy enough to put together. It looks way more expensive than what I paid for it. My only complaint is one of the slides for one drawer is bent and does not allow the drawer to slide in smoothly. We just put things in it that we rarely use. We would buy this again.
So happy with this kitchen island. Wanted to update mine for years, and hubby came through for Christmas. Love the extended fold down top for when we do family buffet style dinner. I always worry about something like this being delivered with no damage to the parts and everything is in the box.....no problem, it was perfect. I am impressed how well the manufacturer packs it to be sure nothing cracks, splits or breaks. It is sturdy and has more storage than my old one. So very pleased. And kudos to the UPS guys for delivering such a heavy box.
I'll be using this as a quilting/sewing pressing, cutting and storage station. Took about 2.5 hours to assemble by myself. If you can, unbox it outside and wipe each piece off before bringing it inside, lots of styrofoam little bits will stick to each piece but they are easy to vacuum up if not. Kept the added side towel bar and spice rack on, will use S hooks to hang quilting rulers on and cannisters for scissors, marking pencils etc.
Assembly is a pretty big project, but my GF and I got done in a couple hours. Love the island, use it every day, for every meal I prepare, and also to dine on. It added a respectable amount of storage space to my small kitchen too.

Works great in my kitchen. Looks like it was meant to be there. Lots of storage and I love that the side flips up when I need a larger island!
