    Best purchase yet.

Love this frame. It was super easy to assemble. My 11 year old helped me with it. Tons of storage space underneath and very sturdy. Will never buy box springs again after this. I am planning on buying two more for my boys rooms. They can not break them when the jump and do flips on them.

    Strong.

Can be put together by one person if you have walls to lean and hold things up against. Very sturdy for 275 lb person.

Frame sturdy, BUT a support beam had screw holes in wrong side!! (how we fixed it in review)

I would give this raised bed frame 5 stars, because if it werent for this ONE really big mistake (that Ill get to) it would have been fantastic! We ordered this, as our bed frame that came with bed was not proper size. Only one side would stay on rails at a time. It was slightly too wide, which was odd because i never had a frame problem in 37 years of buying and sleeping on beds. We removed frame and had box spring and mattress on floor. Bad idea. They sold us a cheap, foldable, collapseable box spring, saying it was new, and replacing big bulky box springs, etc. False. It was cheap and permanently collapsed one night. We were looking for a new frame/box spring and came across this one. Reviews were great, it looked VERY sturdy, AND You didnt need a box spring! After talking about it, we decided to take a chance and purchase the queen size frame. The directions were very easy, all screws and hardware were included. It was extremely easy to put together. After we put outter edges together and started connecting the middle piece that supports the bed and majority of weight, which also holds the bed together, so that the bed wont spread apart from the weight, it connects across the middle up and down, and side to side, to hold bed together securely, so when you lay those smaller slats, they are supported and the bed is secure. One of those support bars on one side, had the screw holes punched on the wrong side. It was punched as if you threaded the screw up and down, instead of side to side. The other side was done correctly, so we couldnt just turn it. We tried to lay the slats without it, but the bed was too wide, they fell right out. It was a crucial mistake on a crucial piece. We FINALLY figured it out. We took another screw that we had, that was pointy on the end, hammered it into the correct side, until it punctured the metal, and used a screwdriver to forcefully screw it in on both sides. We took it out, and put the support arm back in place, secured the end that was correctly punched, and had to use that same, smaller screw to secure to other side to hold bed together. It wasnt ideal, but it worked. Slats all laid in place tightly and securely, we put mattress on top, and it felt quite sturdy when laying on it. We were worried about the mattress directly on top of slats, but it was very supportive and comfortable, you cant feel slats at all. We have only slept on it one night, but it was great. It feels secure. There is LOTS of space under the bed for storage. We love the look of it. Mattress fits inside the little raised edge perfectly, so it doesnt slide around. I would recommend buying something to cover the legs/feet as you WILL stub your toe. I saw this in other reviews and ordered black, slimmer pool noodles, they slipped around the legs perfectly and have come in handy a few times, already. All in all, we are very pleased. That one manufacturing mistake caused us a lot of extra time to figure out how to fix it, and the time it took to actually do it. Otherwise, we could have had frame together in under an hour. If you run into this issue, and can do what we did, I definitely recommend it, its a nice looking, sturdy frame, and is very easy to assemble. If you cant do what we did, I would not recommend, as the frame is completely useless.

easy setup but it squeaks within a month

Its easy to assemble and seems really sturdy. I have only been using it for a month or two and when I turn over it makes noise. I couldnt get my really stable sturdy frame upstairs so this was my next best option. I dont think I will keep it in the long term.
