Definitely pretty and made somewhat well. Lightweight I dont believe theyd hold up in every day use. I carried them up 2 flights of stairs myself. One came with a snag in the seat cushion. Ive only had them 10 days and noticed one of the legs has split already! AND No one has sat in them but me for a few seconds (I weigh145 lbs.) The legs are very light in color. I stained mine so theyd match my oak tables better. I dont believe the legs are made of a solid wood. See pictures.
I likeeee the chair... but when I received it there was a long split in the wood of one of the legs! I wasnt sure if it would still be structurally sound if I glued it and seriously considered just sending the whole thing back. I ended up gluing it and so far its okay, but the whole experience has made me skeptical.
I loveee this chair, it is a little smaller then I expected but looks
Great In the space and goes with my decor. The arms are screwed into a board which Is pain to get undone. Advice, hold one side and unscrew the other .
First of all, the box came with gaping holes in it. Second, the finished wood is bolted to a piece of wood. This piece of wood is splintered, so its dangerous - wear gloveees or be incredibly careful. I was able to remove the screws from the finished wood to the shipping wood on most of the holes but one hole was caught with bubble wrap so much that when I screwed it out, it left a larger hole than the screw. The last screw well its still in there. The bubble wrap was twisted around it and I cannot get it to budge. My neighbor is s carpenter and said the only way to fix that (after he tried all his tricks) would break the wood. Again, as I said, this is the worst thing Ive ever bought on and I have reached out about a refund.
Overall the chair is great. Cake to assemble. Im 215lbs and it holds my weight, though it wont be used for that. Just for show. The one downside I ran across was that on the crossbar, there are metal inserts where the screws go. One was missing but it was still sturdy enough and you dont see it. Its legit.

Yellowish Cream Color
A little on the yellow side of cream but for the price, not worth disassembly to box it back up.
